Found Melbourne airport to be a problem. Flew (never again) JetStar to Hobart from Hervey Bay. As JS do not have baggage transfers had to collect own baggage but as onward flight was more than 4 hour wasn't able to check baggage in so had to sit in no mans land. After 3 hours went to check in but as the plane had been delayed 2 hours had to wait only to find it was further delayed but fortunately we were able to check our baggage in. They need baggage storage or somewhere decent to sit

Yes, I've had one. A DON who sacked me after being called to his office. He said he was sacking me for being cruel to a resident. I have never been cruel to any of my patients or residents. I used take two elderly sisters (who had no family or visitors) once a month, in my own time, to buy them a Cornish pasty. I had to get the DON'S permission to do that because he was their NOK. He gave me permission but I wasn't allowed to take them to their bank. One day, one of the sisters wanted to go to the bank. I thought, why not...it's their money. To make a longer story short, that DON was syphoning money, every pension day, from their accounts into his. I reported him to the owner ( who I'd worked for previously) The DON was confronted by the owner...and he made up a story, paid a carer to be a witness and say she'd seen me being cruel. I had 30 days to take him to court. So I waited for 28th day then had my union serve legal papers to take him to court for wrongful dismissal. I won that case, was compensated and given my job back. But in a small town, mud sticks, so I didn't go back and found a better job. He was sacked, he was doing the same to other residents. And to think, I saved that b#stards life when he was kicked in the head by his horse...

I agree there are some youngsters who are like that but I don't think you can generalise. I know many young people who do not behave in that way at all and I believe that is because of good parenting. You get older and the realization that you will die one day starts to hit. You look back at your life and what did you do with it...sulk, sit depressed over the past. That truly is a life wasted. It always takes two to tango so when you say that you have been betrayed by your friends, family AND spouse then I'm sorry but you definitely contributed in some way. False memory is often instant especially for those who suffer trauma so no doubt the past you're remembering is not entirely accurate and more forcefully negative from your own presumptions. No person is ever so innocent that the world completely dominates them through no fault of their own. Like attracts like so start by focusing on your OWN actions and be the change you want to see in the world. If someone has betrayed you it's because you let them. Learn to be your own champion and put yourself first but be kind to others along the way without compromising your truest values. There are few true victims in society but by choosing to be one especially after so many years and not moving on you are not only actively creating a life of misery for yourself but you feed it to those around you making their lives harder and repeating the cycle. I think, personally, that we often don\u2019t appreciate what we have until it\u2019s gone and relationships break down when you don\u2019t take the time to nurture them. People don\u2019t like feeling that they are being taken for granted and we can do this without realising the effect it has on those we genuinely care about until the time comes when they feel so undervalued that the relationship falls apart. I had to except the fact that I had a Stroke. At age 39 I Stroked as my daughters and I were getting ready for the day. My daughers were only 12yrs and 7yrs old at the time. It did not happen right away, I was very angry, I spent 2 months in the Rehab Hospital. Every1 I knew except for 1 person avoided me like the plaque. After many years I finally gave in and excepted that I had Stroked, Im now a totally different person, but it took quite a few years for me to be where I am now. They do not know why I stroked, but I truly beleive that it saved my life. Without getting to much in to it, I was drinking all the time, getting into fights etc. I am now though a much happier person. I am now 62yrs old, and I do not think I would of made it this long if I was the same person I was right after I got out of rehab.

It's quite common in boys, My son was the same. Except we didn't have those in that sizing back then so it was bed liners and washing each day . There is a nasal spray that can help to slow things down, but basically in most cases it's simply hormonal,( the hormone responsible for concentrating the urine overnight is less present than it should be) and you will find once the 12yr mark kicks in or soon after ,. It will just stop. It's very frustrating I do remember ,but it's important not to let your child feel like it's an issue, They can't help it, It's not from trauma and it's not going to help restricting drinks before bed either. I see no point in humans becoming vegetarians. What do we do with the animals that we have on the planet? Cows have to be milked, and there's nothing better than beef in my opinion. While I am very grateful that Gladys has gone....and even more grateful to have left NSW for good...I'm not sure Elizabeth...my impression of "Whats his name" is that he is a slightly camp, right wing stick insect...with an ego so massive even Scott Morrison has been surprised...someone else pointed out that he holds out his "mass of children"... "like a human shield" to prove that he is straight...I don't know...but if that has any credence at all..I find that very sad...and he shouldn't be trying hide his true feelings....I personally find him just so very deeply creepy and strange...Yuk!....is that just me?...I wouldn't like to be one of his children or any part of his family...but I think its fine if he wants to adopt you....

I liked the show on the ABC where they took the schoolchildren to visit the nursing homes. The people living there got so much out of it & the children also benefited from the intertactions.

Okay, to the folks keeping your food past the expired date, in most instances(except for canned goods with no dents, rust etc.), I don't advise keeping things past 2 weeks, sometimes a month past the best if used by date. There is such a thing as catching an E. Coli germ that can go to your bladder and cause you some very serious health problems. I cleaned out my moms fridge before she had died and she had stuff in there from 8 years expired, and tells me that it's still good and I told her no, she got mad and we never saw each other again, she is dead now, but 2 months after I had cleaned out her fridge and had told her about the E. Coli bacteria in the bladder deal, and do you know she had that very issue. It had her in the hospital for about a month, my Uncle telling me that I needed to come deal with her, which I knew she had my brother around to help her and she didn't want my assistance...but after she had that happen to her, she stayed sick basically, and was dead in a years time. There is a reason for those dates, these companies know this, and you with common sense know there are reasons alsp, so, word to the wise, use your products up around the expiry date. I had rather have you here and healthy than sick from that stuff...and she wasn't the only one that this has happened to.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Emphatically Yes! No less a being than God Himself knows that people change. The caveat is that we must wish to change, and become more like Him. He not only helps us see that we need to change, but He is there every step of the way as we change. Everyone human has sinned, but if we confess our sins to Him, turn away from our sins, and turn to Him, He will accept us...immediately. We humans cannot tell if a persons change is genuine, but that's not our role or business anyway. Only God will be able to judge, and He will do so when He comes to earth again. I know from my own experience as a great sinner, that God never stopped pursuing me, and I finally accepted His invitation to make Him first in my life. I am now a changed person, saved by His grace, and if God can assist in helping me change, He can help anybody. So, make the decision you want to change, and He'll be right with you every step of the way---I promise, and so does He.

I don't know where you live but you have more successes growing produce than I do. I had tomatoes on my back step but just before they were ripe birds pecked them. Birds and snails eat my strawberries, birds and possums eat the plums, possums also eat the lemons, birds eat the grapefruits and cockies eat the Macadamia's while something eats the figs. However, I do get a god crop of rhubarb and cape gooseberries when they pop up. We have tried netting but a Kookburra got caught in one and something managed to get underneath others. It gets depressing but we battle on but this year we have a problem with a lack of bees. No bees no anything.

Been a footy fan since 1990. $18 for TWO ice creams...convert that to POUNDS...and you know that is on par with prices in the UK. Second, Spain is not being investigated for match fixing, LMAO...they do NOT need to fix any matches. Next, the VAR is ACTUALLY very correct. The issue in football PRE-VAR was people wanting a replay for correct calls....so they got that and now they say its NOT right, lol. NO, it is 100% correct and people get butthurt. Fouls are NOT being ignored...you need to know the game to know what is a foul or not. If players make an attempt AT THE BALL...and get the ball FIRST, any contact after is NOT a foul. This is common knowledge. Anything BLATANT...like the US player Balogun getting a red yesterday...IS called because there was ZERO attempt at the ball and he stepped on the guys ankle which COULD have been dangerous. Red card, blatant foul. The refs have done quite well in every match. There has been NOTHING suspicious whatsoever, and I am always critical of refs. I WILL agree with the ripoff part...THIS IS ALL ON FIFA, not the venues themselves. FIFA themselves are corrupt as they come. Everyone knows that. People pay still cuz this won't happen again, most likely, in their lifetime. The OVERALL rhetoric from ALL 3 host countries has been overwhelmingly positive, no matter HOW the media tries to say otherwise. Also, this is more of a US world cup, with Mexico and Canada having a few games as ANYTHING quarterfinals and forwrd is ALL in the U.S. This has been one of the best world cups...play wise, reffing wise, and atmosphere wise...in my lifetime. Kudos to the U.S....they have done it proper. As a Canadian, the ONLY two places we CAN host games happen to be in the MOST leftist and expensive cities...Toronto and Vancouver...which sucks, but, that's all we can offer. So it is what it is...TSN here in Canada has done an excellent job at broadcasting the pre-games, post games, the Canadian matches, and showing all other matches. The fan fests in each city are always packed for every match. All in all...the only gripe is the ticket prices. But, that's always a gripe because inflation is insane. At least in Atlanta, people can get food for the cheapest because the Falcons owner says HE WILL NOT raise concession prices just because FIFA requests it...so, kudos to them.
