There is alot of serious youth crime now. Firebombing,theft,assaults with weapons, etc. I dint know if this is at some level from home envoirnment,gang related or association with people who are already in trouble or just bad decisions. I do know that if it was my boys I would want as much help for them and me as possible. I would want the first time to be the last. I would like support,for me and my child,welfare checks,updates,assurances enforced by law that my child would not be associating with known offenders. Realistic punishments that are suitable to the crime committed. I would expect to be held accountable as well as my child and make recompense for their actions. I would hope that they would be involved in a youth program that challenged their current behaviour and gave them the hard truth ,tough love and skills to be better. It is actually a very hard question to answer brcause it depends on so many unknowns. I prefer, on no other information,each keep separate finances but agree on also having a joint account for covering all household expenses the parties have agreed on.
