| Yummy Beef Cordon Bleu with garlic potatoes and broccoli | ||
This is a quick yet delicious mid-week meal. Dinner is ready in just under 60 mins. Ingredients: 500g beef tenderloin 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese 1 piece of thin ham Salt and pepper to taste Italian seasoning Tomato sauce 4 medium potatoes (chopped) Garlic powder Onion powder Dash of oil Pumpkin Broccoli (or vegetables of your choice) Method: 1) I use a tenderizer to flatten the beef tenderloin. 2) Add salt, pepper, cheese, ham, grated cheese, tomato sauce and Italian seasoning once beef tenderloin has been flattened. 3) Then carefully fold and roll it up. You might need to insert a toothpick to hold everything together. 4) Slowly fry the beef cordon bleu in oil until both sides are brown. It takes about 15-20 mins all up. Careful not to burn the outside. 5) For the garlic potatoes, I chop them into cubes, sprinkle garlic and onion powder and fry them in oil till golden. This takes about 15 mins. 6) I then serve this along with roast pumpkin and broccoli. Enjoy! | ||
