Melt in the mouth Sunday Beef Roast | ||
This is definitely one of our family favorites with minimal ingredients but tender and flavorful pot roast. I hope this recipe will become a delight for you as it has been for my family. Ingredients: 800g -1kg bolar roast 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tbsp garlic powder 2 tsp wholegrain mustard/ Dijon mustard (optional) 2 tbsp tomato paste 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper to taste Method: 1) Thoroughly rub the above ingredients on to the beef roast. Cover it and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. I normally prepare this the night before and refrigerate it overnight for maximum flavor. 2) Transfer the beef into a baking dish. Wrap it in foil. Bake it for 2 hrs at 120 degrees. I like to bake it slowly for maximum tenderness. 3) I serve this beef roast with potatoes and vegetables. Enjoy! | ||
