Creamy Mince Mushrooms and Noodle Casserole | ||
This is an easy, affordable yet comforting delicious noodle bake, ideal for mid-week recipes. Ingredients: 375g Trident Singapore Noodle (fine noodles work best to keep the dish moist) 50g butter 1 tbsp flour 750ml cream or milk Salt and peppers to your taste Dash of oil 1 large onion 1 garlic clove, crushed 1 kg beef mince 400g can mushroom soup 500g mushrooms or 1 can of mushroom 2 tbsp soy sauce Grated tasty, mozzarella or Parmesan cheese Method: 1) Lightly boil the noodles. Do not overcook. Then run it under cold water, set aside. 2) Make a thick white sauce with butter, flour and cream. Season with salt and pepper, set aside. 3) Fry chopped onion and garlic, brown mince with oil. Then add mushroom soup, mushrooms soy sauce. Add 1/2 of the white sauce. Stir gently until boil. 4) Add noodles. Gently mix them all together. 5) Transfer these cooked content into a casserole dish. Add the remaining white sauce. Cover and bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour. 6) Sprinkle more grated cheese on top. I serve it with cheesy bread. | ||
