Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta | ||
Ingredients: 200g spaghetti or pasta of your choice 250g shrimp, peeled and deveined 3 tbsp butter 3 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional) Salt and pepper, to taste 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp chopped parsley Juice of half a lemon Instructions: 1. Cook pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. Cook shrimp: In a large pan, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for 2-3 mins each side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside. 3. Make garlic butter sauce: In the same pan, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 mins until fragrant. 4. Combine: Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the pan. Toss well to coat with garlic butter. Add lemon juice and parsley. 5. Serve: Plate it hot, and sprinkle extra parsley or parmesan if you like. | ||
