Chocolate Self-Saucing Pudding

Ingredients
1 cup self-raising flour
2 tbs cocoa powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
100 g butter (cooled, melted)
1/2 cup milk
1 egg (lightly beaten)
Sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbs cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups boiling water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 6 cup capacity baking dish with butter and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa and brown sugar.
In a jug, combine the butter, egg and milk.
Whisk the liquid into the dry ingredients until well combined and pour into the baking dish. Smooth the top.
Mix the brown sugar and cocoa together for the sauce. Sprinkle over the top evenly.
Using a metal spoon, touch the tip to the surface of the cake batter and gently pour the boiling water onto the spoon so as not to splash the surface.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Serve with ice-cream or cream.
