Pavlova with Strawberries

Ingredients
6 egg whites
3 cups icing sugar
2 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbs boiling water
Instructions
Beat first four ingredients together in an electric mixer.
Add boiled water and beat until thick and smooth, approximately 15 minutes.
Pile mixture thickly onto a baking paper lined oven tray.
Bake for 2 minutes at 200C, then turn down and cook a further 1½ hours at 100C.
Leave in oven to cool.
Top with whipped cream and strawberries.
