| Kumera Shepherd's Pie | ||
2 onions diced 250g minced beef 1 1/2 tbsp tomato paste 2 large carrots chopped and boiled 1 cup peas boiled salt 1 tsp oregano 1 can of diced tomatoes 900g mashed kumara 100g mashed potato 1 cup grated cheese Put the kumara and potato on to boil. Heat up a pan and brown the mince with the onion. Add in salt, oregano and tomato paste. Give a good stir then mix in the canned tomatoes. Add the boiled carrots and peas and transfer to a baking dish and cover with mashed kumara/potato. Cover with grated cheese and bake at 180°C for 10-15 minutes | ||
