Goodness me I find it hard to count just how many loved ones have died in my life thus far.
It all started with my aunty when I was about 2 or 3 years old. I don t remember her but that s when it started for me.
At approximately age 5 or 6 I watched my mums friend die from lung cancer back in the 70 s, She withered away to nothing and then it was over.
With a huge family I ve watched a lot of my family and friends pass.
Between 9 and about 13 years old I watched in disbelief as my favorite Grandparents started to take leave of this world one by one over a few years.
I guess it was when I started to comprehend what death was to me, finality.
At just 15 years old my Mum 38 yrs old passed away after a sudden asthma attack one afternoon. Later that night in the hospital she took her last breath, lying there she looked so peaceful. We said our goodbyes and Hmmm
A few years later my older brother died after a freak accident.
Shortly after that my ex decide that it was her time to take leave of this big blue ball of stress and anxiety.
And the list goes on and on and on.
Ironically I ask you Where does it end.
In order to Stop hurting, Do I stop making friends ?
I m not sure it ever gets easier to lose a loved one, But I do think I ve become somewhat Numb to the thought of it.
IS IT EVER EASIER TO LOSE A LOVED ONE ??
