Not sure how some people can get such high scores in Scramble words.

I ve played a few times. On all levels easy medium and hard. Most times managed to get around 400-600 points before all words are solved.

Tried a little experiment. Got the letters and put into a crossword solver - basically spits out every correct English word of 2 or more letters up to the maximum. Started out with short and moved upwards. Have also gone from longest complex ones to shortest.

So here lies the problem. The more bonus words you enter that are not in the puzzle grid, the more bonus clues you get, thus filling the boxes faster and once all words are full it s game over even if there s 20 more words to add. Every combination of words gets the same end result. And some game grids only have 5 word boxes in them.

So I m curious how I can be maxed out at 600 or so points and game over yet some scores are up in the 3000s? And no, it s not about speed, I ve entered in really quick time and varied it to take longer and it seems to make little difference.

Anyone have any insight?
