Sneaky behaviour from well known sites
I am a member of many sites, including job boards like Indeed and Seek and I was absolutely peeved that, when I tried to read reviews on certain employers, it asked me for my mobile number and to agree that it is allowed to send me texts and robot messages! I already verified my email and am a member so WHY do I have to agree to give it my mobile when I do NOT AGREE to receive sms and bot messages? This goes against spamming and ability to opt NOT to get marketing messages (which is part of our law in Australia).

Have you had any other experiences like this?
