The Australian wine industry

the big alcohol sellers made a switch to "national wine sellers" back in the 1980s...all the local wineries were just left behind...right now...these "Brands"...like Penfolds are selling wines made in China and America....at the point where there is a massive glut of our local wine...the wineries are offering big discounts on bulk purchases...but at your local wine store..there is no discount....they don't
care. I buy on-line direct in SA ...wine prices dropped by a third last month...I bought one case at half price...nothing has changed at your local wine store...right?...they are ripping you off...and dumping foreign wine on a market that does not need it...that is not good enough...
