If a family member divorces their mate, do you treat the former in-law as an out-law? I do not feel you should have to sever ties with someone that has been considered as family for many years. It is really hard to cut ties with friends and family during and after a split. There are boundaries. What do you choose to do? Is it different in every case, or totally taboo?
