I was standing in the checkout queue in a supermarket, all the staff were wearing T-Shirts that said "this Shirt is made from 65% recycled plastic". Is that supposed to a good thing?.....what is the remaining 35% made of?.....why use plastic at all in a shirt?...just use cotton...every time the staff wash those they will release more micro-plastics into our drinking water... Everyone is keen to be green...or appear to be green...but we need to think all these things through properly...what do you think? Have you got other examples?
