As the local bank branches have closed and the ATM has gone I have to travel to the next suburb in order to get cash, so when I was in a large shopping centre recently and saw an ATM I decided to use it. I first noticed the keypad was very low so I had to stoop as I put my card in. The screen asked which security I wanted, facial recognition, thumb or PIN, then did I want a withdrawal, deposit, transfer or balance. Then it was cheque, savings, or cash advance. Next a choice of amounts and did I want this as a favourite followed by did I want a printed receipt, no receipt, balance on the screen, but by now I was starting to feel stressed. It shouldn't be that difficult, so many choices, just give me my money, it's that simple.
