Have you ever experienced being scammed? Back in 2019, when my dear mom was still here, we got scammed out of a great deal of funds by some fraudsters claiming to be employees of our bank. We were told that someone had fraudulently used my credit card to send money by Western Union; & that our local branch had staff members who were running a scamming ring. To summarize a lengthy story, although we definitely did NOT give out any account numbers; PINS; or any other personal information, we lost a very large amount; & could not get any of it back; because; while the scam went on; we were convinced that the fraudsters were telling us the truth; & we willingly followed their instructions.
