Ok, 2 working parents would get approx. 2 to 3 weeks annual per year of leave, so between them, they could have available 6 weeks. This needs to cover the following leave:

Sick leave because child is ill.
School holidays - currently if you count all the pupil free days, public holidays etc would be 10-12 weeks give or take a day.

Vacation care costing is ridiculously high and spots few and far between. Not to mention with the cost of living going up, up, up, who can afford this luxury.

What do other parents do? Relies on grandparents? Family members? Is there funding from the government for this, or is it just another bill the working parents have to foot.
