This Really Sucks Doesn't it?
Yesterday, a Ryanair Boeing aircraft had one of its windows totally blown out shortly after takeoff. The unfortunate person sitting in that seat was sucked halfway out the window despite still wearing his seatbelt. It was caused by one of the engines exploding and shrapnel being fired at the window. This passenger is not dead... yet. The last one that had an identical experience on a Boeing fairly recently was not so lucky. BUT don't worry, because thousands of aircraft take off everyday with no one at all dying in most of them. That was the conclusion of the news report. Is everyone else OK with that conclusion? Did people get sucked out of aircraft in the past due to faulty aircraft? I don't think so. What do you think?
