I have just acquired four-step grandchildren. Their father is a major part of their lives, seeing them every week. I live in another state and will probably only see them once or twice a year.

I am not sure how to go about this. Should I be buying them birthday and Christmas gifts? They are pretty spoilt children, courtesy of wonderful grandparents, who do so much for them and absolutely adore them.
