I was walking past a play park today and noticed a young woman shrieking and making weird noises... while running around in circles and sometimes jumping with her arms in the air... then I realised there was a very little person... running behind her... laughing and trying to copy her... a parent actually playing with her child!... how fantastic! Normally the parents I see dump their child on a swing or climbing frame and then just stare at their phones... and I imagine they then take them home, plonk them in front of the TV... then after dinner take them to bed where a talking book tells them a story... phew... saves all the inconvenience of having children... eh?... now in MY day...
