I say no to daycare if you don’t have to. I watch my grandsons while mommy goes to work. I definitely did not want anyone else raising my grand babies.

I will sum up this problem I see repeated again and again in just one statement. Modern woman seeks traditional man.

it is not okay to have secrets in a relationship, it's all about being honest and upfront because without trust there is no relationship, and having secrets in a relationship can cause troubles down the track.

Men start off playing football, they move to cricket or tennis and finally to golf. This shows that as we get older our balls get smaller.

The rich get richer the poor get the picture... homelessness is the responsibility of all not just governments. You see many people on the streets yes but have you ever spoken to one? Battered bruised abused mental health issues untrusting all the results of what these people have been put through. It is hard for them to come back from the wilderness without proper care attention and medication. Yes governments could do more but we as a society must do our bit as well. By that I mean working the soup kitchens providing essentials clothing food etc. Sparing a little fir thise in need does a lot

That's OK. By the time you are in your 80s not only are you not noticed, you become invisible. They send you little notes of how good their retirement villages are, I'm still here still gardening, still cooking and hey I can still vote, still laugh with friends and silly me, I'm still here in Rewardia. So there.

the only debt we have is a mortgage which is literally a debt till death. Pay your credit card in full every time as debts like this grow exponentially. If necessary go hungry or this debt will eat you!

They need to be desexed whether you decide to keep them or not, or else you will have many, many homeless kitties to worry about.

*Everything* is a "medical condition" and has to be labelled these days, because nobody can take responsibility for their own decisions and actions. 🙄

Property has ALWAYS been beyond the reach of working Australians, They were lucky to have a car per household, not one per person, Now we have credit cards, tech and everyone wants everything now,

for some reason, no one seems to be able to say pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis except me... A lot of people I know with the same last name say things like 'fravourite' instead of favourite. I have no idea why, it just seems to be what comes out. At least three kids I know from the same family also say 'free' instead of three and other things like that. There was even an old lady I heard of that said 'coinkedink' (pronounced co-in-key-dink) instead of coincidence.

Do I believe in Alien Life Form (aka ALF)? DEFINITELY! FYI: ALF can also be spelt as: D O N A L D J O H N T R U M P.

Well I really hope not but a long time ago my parents would eat Chinese at a shop some where in Brisbane any way the shop was caught enticing the local street cats and they served them up as chicken. Yuk so my parents do believe they have eaten cat, not by choice of course. The shop was closed down obviously. A woman I knew was really upset by some people that lived near her as they were trying to catch ducks in the local park. Setting traps for them and yes using them as food. I am pleased we don't have wet markets here in Australia but I am sure if you knew where to look there could be a black market and you could get what ever you wanted at a cost. We use and abuse animals for a lot of things and food is only a part of the whole situation unfortunately. I do eat meat don't get me wrong but I do feel for the animals especially if we treat them so badly. Big problem we have now is eggs, a dozen is now going to cost us $15 because we aren't allowing caged hens. All hens have to be free ranged or barn laying. I was a little put off as I will refuse to pay that much for eggs. An alternative to using an egg/eggs in a cake is 1. Apple Sauce 2. Banana and 3. 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of vinegar (per egg) 4. plain or vanilla yoghurt. Maybe when they realise some people will refuse paying that price the price will drop but only time will tell. We do have alternative solutions for this problem and we are not reliant to them for our needs. We will adapt and find other ways. I like eggs but I will slowly learn to live without them.

on my own until 17, no siblings, joined the army, 8 year infantry,, raised 2 boys, life is good most of the time,,, when you have to learn life on your own, the hard way, you appreciate life more, you try to help when help is needed, as i got help when i needed it, so i pass it on, i have no use for narcissistic people, people that start unfounded conspiracy theories, i reckon that includes those that like their own posts as nobody else will, lol,, folks that constantly complain,, they should just be happy to have a roof over their head, a lot of folks in this world do not,, people dividing the USA with their far right conspiracy crap, but i reckon they have that right to be buttholes, as someone's son/brother/father/mother, gave their all so y'all can

Not a bother to me. Surely it could only be a worry to people who are not doing the right thing or who want to be hiding from the authorities or whatever.

I think to a certain degree..Americans are more into worrying about and agonising over their relationships...mental health...and my pet hate mindfullness (whatever that means)..and some like talking about themselves a lot, because they maybe find themselves interesting....I have never ever been lonely and very very rarely been anything less than enthusiastic about life...I have a very limited group of friends that I trust..maybe 8...and two who would take a bullet for me or give me anything I asked for if it would help without question...two great sons...a wider social group that I see sometimes but do not worry about too much...and a network here on Rewardia that I value ..I'm happy with that...and don't need anything else...and I'd probably be fine with far less...I do not need or want any medication...my head is in a good place...and always has been... I'm just happy and grateful to be here....I don't understand why so many people ... living in a fortunate country with no serious problems..can have so many problems...and make themselves sick... you don't have to look very far to see people living in horrific conditions...they would love to have your lifestyle..or even clean water... that Surgeon General...is he concerned with the number of dead people...hundreds of children.... due to gun ownership in his country?..or maybe that is an area that he is not allowed to talk about..... I would not want his job.... leaving a loaded gun lying around is bad for a lot of people's health...

Yes. I knew a lady that I worked with. She and her husband bickered every day in a house they shared. They ended up divorcing after 35 years of marriage. They both live down the hall from each other in an apartment block and now are getting along amazingly well. She calls her ex-husband her new best friend. Life can change for the better!

I once made a baked potato with ham and cheese on top for dinner, My son even liked it, I love real baked potatoes, I also have learned to drink hot decaf tea. YUM

Trouble is Woolworths and Coles have the monopoly and keep giving excuses for prices increasing whilst their profits are soaring . We need more players, when you look at how many grocery chains the UK has in a much smaller country it is ridiculous

this is bullshit we are citizens to the country we are born in we pay taxes from birth in doctors fees food we eat even breast milk from our mum in the food she eat to produce the milk you get tax from birth to death and your relatives after by mattaining where you are buried if they want to be sovereign citizens take away everything they got from birth give them a bill for everything that been done for them and put them on a island with nothing no clothes let see how many change their mind

Am praying for a better year in 2023 as the last 3 years have taken its toll on everyone in one form or another

Best present, although I didn't know it then, was when our entire family were together. We have lost quite a few of these lovely people and I wish I could have appreciated it at the time and indeed have them back again. Merry Christmas everyone.

I have been working from home and loving it. Will continue to do this mostly when things get back to 'normal'. I actually like my own company and apart from buying food and essentials have not been too concerned about having to stay home. Definitely don't miss the 2 + hours of time on the train that was pre covid.

It's all about selfishness. It's all about me, me, me and not us. I have watched as people care far more about themselves now and their feelings. How else do you explain so many relationship breakdowns? People have no respect for one another, or integrity, honesty, manners or loyalty. I met my husband when I was 16 and at 18 needed my parents permission to marry him. When we tell people we have been married for almost 55 years instead of congratulating us people make jokes such as you don't get that long for murder. Shouldn't a marriage that has lasted that long be valued or even admired instead of denigration?

According to who? It's ok for 20-30 year olds getting blotto every weekend and contribute to populating the world unintentionally, but once a 40+ gets on it it's an issue? I'm stoked when I see a 40+ get absolutely annihilated at Melbourne Cup in their heels, fascinators and a lovely set of designer gear with a camera on them:) I'm 48 and the only person I know who goes overboard is my sister. So where's the rest of them?

Derek T, I agree with Trevor M, I am 67,still working in mining, still going strong, still in reasonable shape, lot of surveys will ask age, then screen you out, that is fine, some are looking for younger views, etc, but I still have an opinion on most thinks and consider myself reasonably intelligent,( I only said reasonably)

GOT MARRIED 54 YEARS AGO, DID NOT HAVE MUCH MONEY, WORKED HARD TOGETHER AND NOW REAPING THE RICHES OF OUR HARD WORK.

I STILL feel, while there are people in our community who have fought for our respective countries and who would have given their lives for it, that the RESPECT dang well better be there!. I ALWAYS refer to someone over the age of 40, I'm 57, with "Sir or Mam". I use the age of 40 as a baseline as all of my children are under this age. I truly believe that it is their, our elders, DUE to be treated with a title showing that we respect their age as an identifier of a history and life experience that, we hope, we shall not endure! However, if they state, as the gentleman I spoke with yesterday did in giving his name and permission for me to use it, THEN and ONLY then, will we be on a more familiar first name basis. Years ago when I was doing a stint in the Geriatrics Department of a hospitaI I had called an older lady "Dear" and was quickly admonished for it. I was told that I was NEVER to call someone that due to it being disrespectful and to refer to them as Mr or Mrs Smith or whatever their name on the wall behind them indicated and if there wasn't a visible name then Sir or Mam would do. I UNDERSTAND that times change but some things need preserving, at least for a few more decades! I don't hold out hope though for the general public what with "pregnant mother" being relegated to the annals of history and "birthing parent" being used instead. Or, even worse as I see it, "breast feeding mother" now known as "chest feeding parent". The word "mother" is forbidden in places and I don't just mean in the movie "A Brave New World"! The use of language identifies us as individuals and changing this, as is intentionally occurring now through the Big Tech monopolies, strip's us of that identifier. I want to be known as a mother and grandmother. I BREASTFED my SONS and my DAUGHTERS. Taking this away without my consent is violating my unique identity. It's fine to agree and disagree and such disagreements ARE important, but DON'T cut me out of the dialogue or worse cut the dialogue at all! Thanks for reading this!

People fight over toilet paper in the supermarket, do you really think people will rally together to fight aliens? LOL

I live in Indonesia which is a place the Australia media tell their readers is a third world country. I started wearing glasses in Oz at the age of 40. Now after 2 free (yes free) eye operations in Bali, I can see clearly and have put my $1,600 set of glasses on the shelf.

I was born in the 1950's and I know what a smart bulb is. I am just shocked at the comments on here from people who don't know what they are. Where are the other smart people? Smart thermostat? Smart door locks? Smart garage door? Shall I continue???

Some people just take too much carry-on, check it in, I’ve seen 4 large bags crammed in overheads for one person and no room for others. If they had to pay , they may think about their bags check- in and we might not have this extra charge. We all carry too much excess anyway.

Protect your kids first. Do not immerse your kids with your dates, until you figure out who has earned a place in your life with them. Then introduce them slowly and observe the interactions between them. Go slow and best wishes.

If you really want to know why thee rules have come in to place, you really need to ask all of the creeps who ruined it for the rest of us. The predators, the rapists, the pedophiles. As they have become more prevalent, the rest of society is forced to self protect.

One, I would look for smoke. Two, I check my door - by touching it - searching for heat. Third, I would call 911 (I reside in the USA). Four, I don't have smoke detectors in my domicile - I do have carbon monoxide detectors in my domicile (comes with a ten-year-battery). Five, I would call my insurance company - emergency number (trying to remember 'if' I my home insurance covers fire or smoke damage). FYI: I 'always' check my domicile to make sure I did not leave any appliances on ('every' time I leave my domicile - I am eighty years old - my memory plays mind games with me - lol).

Oh, so many memories. I did not realise how poor we were when very small. Mum used to give us a weet bix spread with the drippings and vegemite and we loved it. When older, favourite dessert was rice pudding and roast lamb and all the trimmings every Sunday. Snacks which I still make today are fritters, especially the potato ones now called german potato cakes or something, and potato and onion cooked up with herbs and spices. Loved spaghetti bolognaise - actually, the only thing I turned my nose up at was liver, tripe and sweetmeats in general. All of us kids ate whatever was put on the table in front of us and my kids were the same. Aww, we kids back then were so easy for our Mum's to look after - most of the time! Lol.

No, I live 6km from the CBD and nowhere near water, bush or any other potential "natural disaster". I think I would be more worried about a "Man made" disaster.

I actually live in BC Canada. I find it really hard to believe The Keg would allow this. The restaurant has to have a food safe certificate to operate. A dog would be going against the food safety guidelines. Only service dogs are allowed in restaurants, so curious how this happened. I think this was a one time situation? But yeah, I wouldn't want to dine with a dog in a restaurant that I'm eating at.

It depends on what you want...your age...your work... and your interests...everybody is different and that is part of what makes life interesting...you just need to organise your life so it fits in with where you live and your goals really...

I've been a gardener all my life, and currently have a small home garden and oversee a community garden at my church, where we have 68 plots of 100 sq. ft. each. There we have raised produce for local hunger relief - with this being our 25th year!

The thing is why should people pay for childcare who don’t have children. I know it’s tough but you have the kids- you look after them

🤣 I do not smoke, and I do not use social media, 😂 so all is good. 😅

I was flying from AL to Sydney when I was in an incident. The guy next to me started jiggling. At first I though he was listening to music, then realised he was sick. I called the stewardess and told her. The next thing was the classic announcement "is there a doctor on the plane". They found one, and he and the stewardess started trying to help the guy. The stewardess turned to me and said "the doctor needs more space, and the only spare seat is in first class, would you mind moving?" So in the spirit of helping out I made the sacrifice and moved to first class for the rest of the trip.

Sly and the Family Stone, arrived at The Doors, the Mummas and the Pappas were taking the tickets, The Band was already playing covers from Metallica, there were some Animals in the corner they were in Dire Straits but it was alright The Police were watching them like detectives, The Queen arrived didn't know she was a Blondie, our friends The Beach Boys REMembered the Cream cakes they were on Platters, but the Byrd's, they might have been Eagles ate them anyway, Yes the Outcast was there as well he was a Public Enemy because he shut down the A/C/D/C at the last concert Nirvana played at, ABBA yelled out hey U2 look out for the Turtles , The Yardbirds were squawking at us as well but i think it was because our hair was Pink, Floyd who was having a Green Day sat with Gladys Knight and the Pips, our seats were so uncomfortable it was like we were sitting on Nine Inch Nails, i noticed Alice Cooper had a bag of Guns and Roses, i was ok with that ,the Pet Shop Boys who have the power of Genesis were watching him, they could behave like Monkeys sometimes, but anyway the Led Zeppelin concert was over there are plenty of Talking Heads in the crowd

Simply, YES! We need to do whatever is necessary. Criminals are rampant, out of control, and repeatedly given a slap on the wrist only. WAKE UP AUSTRALIANS, we need to jail these people and stop living in fear in our own homes, communities.

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest. After a moment or two, the vet shook his head and sadly said, "I'm sorry, your duck, Cuddles, has passed away." The distressed woman wailed, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure. Your duck is dead," replied the vet.. "How can you be so sure?" she protested. "I mean you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something." The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a black Labrador Retriever. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head. The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room. A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room. The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck." The vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman.. The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill. "$150!" she cried, "$150 just to tell me my duck is dead!" The vet shrugged, "I'm sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it's now $150."

Treat others as you would like to be treated, don't be prideful, live within your means and love the family you have being grateful for them. As for me I would add for them to love the Saviour Jesus Christ and put Him first in everything!

I am not sure I have done a lot of different jobs its up to you what you want to do and how much you like your work

Waiting on a miracle? I see them around me every day! I will just mention one because I have the first beautiful flower on a new Christmas Cactus plant. I notice the intricate and perfect details in flowers. No matter where they're from in the world flowers are perfectly made with identically sized petals and intricately dotted or .... I can't even describe them. They're just SO miraculously detailed. And scented beautifully as a bonus:)

When you trust someone/thing for information you think is important you need to be able to check, I personally think they are rorters...and make a lot of money without ever proving to anyone what they say is factual. I would never use the services. I know what I need to know about my family and ancestors dont need to know anything else. and frankly hate the way the american companies promoted this decades ago.

That is called a broad head arrow or "Bear" head. Very expensive and very lethal. Judging from the size it comes from a crossbow which is totally illegal where I come from. I have archery equipment. I don't hunt but I do go out bush to practice for the sport of it. If you miss a target with the types of powerful bows that are on the market today, the arrow could end up anywhere.

Some things I would like to have changed but on the whole, I am content with my life. My husband & I have been married 65 years, have 2 daughters, one is happily married for 35 years, produced 3 wonderful sons & we have 1 great grandson & 2 great granddaughters, so to achieve & to live & see 4 steps of the family, is terrific these days & I am proud of each & every one

We don't eat at a dinner table . Unless it's out at family 's for an event . My son was one of the worst fussiest non eaters as a child so to avoid all the stresses and the direct eye contact of sitting across from eachother ... we ended up with the t.v on for distraction and he had his little stool pulled up to the edge of the coffee table while I relaxed on the couch. Scandalous yes I know ,but it was the only way mealtimes wouldn't end up with a plate of food thrown at the wall in frustration. :/

Sorry, I can't help you. I had a stepchild. I met him when he was 10 years old. He loved me, and he was a wonderful child. When he was 19, his dad moved me to WA state and abandoned me here. Within a year, Stephen had committed suicide...I blame his dad...I don't know what to tell you... ;-{ Sorry. I didn't mean to make it about me. It just made me remember... ;-[ https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/search?firstName=Stephen&lastName=Rojas&dateRange=allTime

That is not always a bad thing. Sometimes the dominate person keeps the conversations going. When there are two of these types in the group it can be entertaining, for others in the group, to watch their 'dance'.

It depends on the job he has my husband was in the army and was away a lot but it made no difference to the way we felt and we were very happy to have each other

I knew a housekeeper that asked the lady of the house for a raise ,the lady said why should I do that,1 she said I'm a better cleaner than you, who told you that she said, your husband she said 2 I'm a better cook than you and who told you that, your husband she said,3 I'm better in bed than you, I suppose my husband told you that Aswell, no your gardener did

I am in my 70's and I see how the young people. Not only do they not give up there seats but push in a line to get on bus first. I called one girl out and told her to wait her turn. Entitlement is what the kids think.

AI will have access to all current medical knowledge...ALL the time....robots are already doing better surgery in some cases....they won't get old or be arrogant..or think they are God......they will make far less terrible mistakes...and spot things in scans that humans cannot even see....I say bring it on...I don't want some doctor misdiagnosing me....not knowing what is currently available...or some surgeon making a mess of my operation...Humans are going to massively benefit....

I live in a unit block and what I hate is tenants slamming their doors. They dont need to. I even said something to a tenant and he only slams it more.

I already have "craptcha" and I should submit it for approval. You all know what it means but if you can't figure it out: " when an antibot puzzle (captcha) is difficult to see, hear or solve making it impossible to log into a site or an activity thereby defeating its purpose of proving you are human as the human doing it cannot solve it"

Instead of World Donut Day or Chocolate Day etc, just name a day as World Food Day and have food festivals globally. Also, feed the poor and needy a special feast on that day.

I don't know and I don't care 'if' there is a possibility life exist on other planets in a vast universe. We (humans) have enough ongoing environmental issues on this planet (over-population, lack of fresh water, climate-change, etc.) - that life might cease to exist on this PLANET - other words spending money on space exploration is a COMPLETE WASTE OF TAXPAYERS' MONEY. Furthermore, if E.T. decides to phone home - MAKE SURE - it is a COLLECT CALL. FYI: I think planet is spelt planet instead of plant (but English is not my first language - LOL)!

My father in law passed, followed by my partner a few months later. I inherited my partner's share of his fathers' estate as well as my partner's insurance. Did it change me? Yes, I've become a recluse, I was sick of people asking me for money. I purchased a cheap half an acre in the wop wops (remote) which I'm currently building on myself so future generations can make use of it. My sons' have received a decent sum each, I have helped out family and friends but I stopped helping people out months ago. I have not bought a new car, gone on holiday, or been on a shopping spree with my money.

I think happiness is a lifelong journey, you will always have great moments to look back on but I never knew until I got to this period in my life what it truly means to be happy, to see my grandkids smiling/laughing and discovering new and different things highlights my life every day, being a part of that is truly a gift

If you can take the time, try the Pearl Farm on Samal Island in Mindanao, Philippines. It is absolute heaven! Food is good, fresh, and very tasty.

The most famous Murphy's Law is (as others have said below): "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong" or similar wording. But there are quite a few other "Murphy's Laws" as well, although whether or not they were all actually said by Edward A. Murphy Jr. or just other people making up their own, is unknown. There's a long list at https://www.cs.cmu.edu/~fgandon/miscellaneous/murphy/

This seems like a horrible dilemma, having been an aged care nurse and community co ordinator in NZ, their are health services available, ie age concern, district health services, be pro active yourself or reach out for support through your GP, all the best. You don’t mention family!

Depends upon your relationship, their level of physical activity, their cognitive ability and what your other responsibilities are.

My parents bought me a present from duty free once and wrapped it up for Christmas. I opened it thinking what the hell is this ..a can of Pal? ( Dog food!) Actually they had just wrapped the label around the tin of the Jean Paul Gautier perfume 😀

I believe in ghosts because I have seen several in my 75 years. You see many decades ago, My Mama and I belonged to a Parastudy Group founded by the publishers of Fate Magazine. I believe, though, that one has to be psychically attuned to the nether world and no, Ouija boards and planchettes are simply unconscious movement of someone's hand. But ghosts exist in every culture around the globe, albeit under various titles. Japan calls them yuyu for example and ghosts are part of their Shintoism religion to which I am a convert from Catholicism and Christianity. Have you seen any spooks or hope to see some tomorrow night? Boo! Have a safe and happy Halloween.

Just train for future jobs...there is a long list...just sit back and think for a while..that's what I told my sons...if you are bright and/or organised you will be fine.....same as it everwas... same as it everwas ...don't be a truck driver...train or tram driver...cab drivers...even specialised medical staff are in real danger...JUST THINK ..and you will all be fine..... we can all have a fantastic future...its coming anyway...fingers crossed!

I don't live in Australia, but I totally agree with you about the news, and it's only going to get worse from here! In Matthew chapter 24 you'll read much more about what is REALLY going to be happening, not just what Satan, the Devil, Wants us to believe! Do Not Be Deceived! At 1 Peter 5:8 we read, "Keep your senses, be watchful! Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone." And at 2 Corinthians 11:14 we read, "And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light." Beware, and Believe! ;-D

I'll be driving my Holden ute until the day it dies. The only technology I need is a reversing camera, for the safety of those passing behind my car. The more features, the more that can go wrong!

Hwew we g o again! men are being blamed for everything. They Must do exactly as they are told to by some female. It is his dresser, his side of the bed, you have invaded his space - something you women constantly tell us we are doin to you - and have interfered in his Walk-in Closet by going in and clearing out his things and then ordering him to put his things there. Hopefully he will find he has nothing to throw away. Just how full are is Youir Walk-in Closet and other containers around the house? When are You going to clear out Your junk? The revolution is coming.

I agree that you are living a clean healthy life but you are wrong when you say the majority picks on the minority as it's quite the reverse. The people demonstrating for Palestine are a minority, the people pushing man-made climate change are a minority, the people who claim a man can be a woman are certainly a minority and the LGB and whatever other letters they have are a minority. They all scream and shout while the silent majority keeps their heads down and gets on with it.

i would give up a family member before i relinquished an animal. Any person who gives up an animal for this bullshit reason is irresponsible garbage. Change your budget & make cutbacks.....your furry family member is relying on you

Why should there be an age limit on dogs V seniors, pets of any sort or name, pets give the elderly a reason to keep them happy, fit, and in their right minds, if they can't walk their dog, there are volunteer's companies like here in my area " Poops" and dog care that comes to the home. I can not understand people that come up with these ideas, It should be up to the individual if they want a dog or not

If it was my cafe they wouldn't be doing that...unless they would like to discuss leasing a table...I could be open to that...make the place look busy?...I could maybe live with that....otherwise I'd look forward to seeing them next time...(that would require them leaving now)

Did you ever wonder? 01. If a bottle of poison reaches its expiration date, is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous? 02. Which letter is silent in the word "Scent," the S or the C? 03. I want to be 18 again and ruin my life differently. I have new ideas 19. I'm on two simultaneous diets. I wasn't getting enough food on one. 20. I put my scale in the bathroom corner and that's where the little liar will stay until it apologizes. 21. Hard to believe I once had a phone attached to a wall, and when it rang, I picked it up without knowing who was calling. 22. My wife says I keep pushing her buttons. If that were true, I would have found mute by now. 23. There is no such thing as a grouchy old person. The truth is that once you get old, you stop being polite and start being honest.

I would say, selfishness. Only being concerned about what they want and what makes them happy. Couldn't care less about what the other partner wants or needs, doesn't care about the children. Some how I found myself married to such a person, the marriage officially lasted 12 years.

I frequently donate but I dislike being guilted into giving at the cash register or Drive-thru window.

The Bible reads at John 15:13, "No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul (life) in behalf of his friends." At 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 the Bible tells us what love is, and what it is not. If we all followed Bible principles, there would be no hatred, no wars. At Colossians 3:14 the Bible reads, "But, besides all these things, clothe yourselves with love, for it is a perfect bond of union." Jesus Christ loved mankind so much, he died for us! And, in relationships, if everything the man does if for her, and everything the woman does is for him, they will have a happy, peaceful relationship filled with love! Compromise! ;-D

chef on tv? why wud anyone beleive ANYthing they are saying, they are trying to make a living. they r not the real source of truth. almost all foods have an amt of protein, so are just more easily digested than others. Animal proteins are very hard to digest, and can't be used by the body until they are broken down to amino acids. (this takes alot of energry away from other thigns the body has to do) ...its why we feeel like we are going into a food coma, after a huge (usually protein meal), all energy is diverted from all but essential body organs. Most plant proteins don't take nearly as much to digest, except for beans. Not only are they hard to digest, they are also hard on the kidneys (like animal proteins are). Bottom line is, if you still want to eat meat, cut down substantially. We do not need the amt of animal products we eat these days. U will save ur kidneys and be much healthier. Kidney disease is fast becoming No. 1 killer. This protein business is largely a myth, promoted and driven by, give you 1 guess by who? Dairy and cattle industries. *who'd of thought* I ALWAYS ask who benefits from the information you are reading? - if someone benefits financially...then chances are the information is BS. anyways my two cents worth....

Hope this doesn't happen here in Australia. The big Pharma companies would have an even greater field day.

Peg H over here were i am our PM has decided he is the savoy so he has been sending millions to other country's to make himself look good, mean while people here our being drain because we can't keep up whit all of this and his B carbon tax which will be going up again and believe me it is really really hard .But election is coming and hope to God he doesn't get back in not with my vote

I love Christmas and miss when I was young and would get together with most of my aunt and uncles. We would all get together at grandmas home. I miss those days,

They are often more careful drivers than many young people who speed and play with their phone or do other things but pay no attention to the road

Doctors are only human - When I was 60-62yrs I had been feeling less than 100% and had been to my doctors multiple times, with a ton of tests - Blood test just about every visit. After more than 12mths of this I ended up in A & E Hospital with very low body temp and was having "Rigors attacks". After many hours the Hospital staff confirmed I had UTI. Doctors NIL - Hospital 1. Doctors DONT GET IT REAL all the time (Just sometimes)

One would think the government would have a lot more important things to concentrate on. Everything seems to be out of control such as the cost of living in general it is absolutely ridiculous what you pay in groceries now not to mention everything else. If I have cash in my purse and a store did not want to except it, I would never shop there again.

Yep, my cat hears me but only does what he wants, when he wants. LOL I do get the odd cuddle until he decides he's had enough. My wild crows do what I say more than the cat but they yell at me a bit if their food is late LOL

I think that people who have worked all their life should be able to have some retirement life before they become too frail. Retirement age should be 65 yrs and if people want to work longer they can and have tax benefits. Everyone has a different lifestyle and health. Some people already end up unable to work at 65 due to ill health, just look at the aging population that end up in Nursing Homes who are in their early 70s. Let there be a small time in life to enjoy some retirement

These days people want the highest wages they can get and are no longer interested in what they are doing. Politicians are in there for what they can earn not to look after constituents and teachers are no longer interested in teaching their pupils a love of mathematics or English or science. Just want a high payment

Definitely. I was sitting at the back of the bus with my best friend when these 2 guys got on and one sat next to me. I was reading a comic and as I turned the page he said "I haven't finished reading that page" so I let him finish reading it. He asked what I was doing the following Saturday and I told him my baby brother was having a Birthday party. Apparently he looked for me on the day and couldn't find me. The following week my friend and I were walking in town when a bus stopped, where they aren't meant to, and he got off the bus with his mate. We started going out that day. I was 13 and he was 15. When he actually saw where I lived he told me he used to live at the bottom of our street and saw a young girl collecting the newspaper from the front lawn one morning and couldn't believe it was actually me. We got married when he turned 21 and we were together until he passed away from cancer just before his 63rd Birthday. It's been almost 5 years now and I still miss him. Especially his big warm hugs.

This is a bit of a mixed up discussion topic. Mental health issues and domestic violence are two different things. Mental health issues do not lead to domestic violence. Domestic violence is about power and control, and can be exhibited in many ways, not just physically, and not just by men towards their partners. It does however frequently lead to mental health issues for those who have experienced it or been exposed to it. Getting adequate and timely support for mental health issues, for men, women, and children is not as easy as people seem to think it is. There are long waiting lists to get the appropriate help, and sometimes it can be difficult to even understand, yet explain to another person what the problem is. I agree that boys are a bit confused as to what their roles in society are meant to be at the moment. The rules keep changing, and people keep telling them that they are “bad”, because they were born make. Especially if they are white.

In no way. I don't use Smart phones. Though I did loose my little 15 dollar mobile I bought at big W, that is annoying to loose all the contacts, though I still keep a lot of Em written on a peice of paper not all of them but, and I know it a hassell putting it all on again. Found it again. Don't use smart phones they are part of a sceem to take over the world for the eleite. waste of money.

honesty is a big deal with me if people ignore you more than likely they have a reason for it but if they don't have enough respect for you to fill you in maybe you should wait for them to come to you

I am still working at age 74. Started this job in 2007 - am happy to stay - just been extended for another 2 years. Don't think I will stay that long but the security is nice. I am not interested in climbing the ladder for more money - just happy to be earning what I do while I am appreciated for what I do.

Excuse me!? I think you will find most long distance truckies are the most considerate and consistently safest drivers on the road. It is the impatient arrogance and rudeness of other road users that cause the accidents and other issues on the road! These giant machines weigh an awful lot (tons) and they require both room and space to stop their vehicles and/or turn corners, especially suburban intersections. They also have large areas of 'blind spots' where they simply cannot see cars & other vehicles - just like blind spots in a ar, on.y bigger. If you have any concerns re truck drivers and their driving, might I suggest you do a little research and take a bit more caution on the road to ensure your own safety and that of the truck drivers, too ??
