I have a boyfriend who is from Africa and I'm white nz women and he has lived in nz for 30 yrs but gets alot of racial comments even from nz people. It's so sad that people worry about the colour of someone's skin. He is part of nz like I am.
With all the stress associated with being able to afford Christmas gifts, I and my and extended family all try to make an original present - like a hand done painting - sprinkled with 'gold' dust you can get from the dollar shop, home made granola or just painted glass bottles with dried herbs from the garden. So much more satisfying than an expensive present and much more appreciated. Lots of fun as well. :)

It has been awhile I thought I would update on my progress. I am 8 pounds shy to be in onderland as they call it. I began at 258 pounds when I started. I am at 209 pounds now
