In Europe some countries shut down their coal plants and nuclear energy plants in favor of renewables and imported energy from Russia (all in the name of reducing emissions). Now, after Russia invaded Ukraine, Europe has stopped importing energy from Russia. Guess what, they don't have enough energy to provide power from their renewables, so they are starting up the coal plants and nuclear energy plants again. As soon as people get hungry or cold, they lose their concerns about climate change.

I don't think this is related to surveys, Edward - EVERYONE I know gets these same messages, mostly as texts, occasionally e-mails - but most of those people don't do surveys. Also I would NEVER give my phone no in a survey - if asked, I enter a false one.

I hope we can all survive long enough to worry about these things...just at the moment...ignoring the fact that HUGE chunks of rock narrowly miss the Earth on a weekly basis (and we usually find them when they going away again)...the moon has taken on a serious wobble which will be having scary effects on our oceans and tides...and air circulation...up until at least 2050...there are of course droughts fires and floods all breaking new records...there is at least one new scary variant of Covid that no-one is talking about yet...and probably plenty more still to come....Phew!!!

Time to move I think......as an aside...I used to live in Paris on the fourth floor of a tall building...ratbags would park their cars up on the (tiny) pavement in front of my front door (the road was small)...so I had to wriggle around the vehicle to get out...THEN I started to drop full wet coffee filters from my "dripolater" coffee machine..from my window, onto any car's roof who parked there...you would hear the odd swearing down below when they got back to their cars....but it only took a week or so...and then NOBODY ever parked there again....not sure that helps...but it was effective..

You say "annoying", but I say "suspicious": I've had to accept my inner-instincts when I go near one of those salons/spas....my gut knows their smiles are fake, most can't /won't communicate properly- which screams that they're merely fronting for something else (just money or ?whatever else?). So for about 15 yrs, I've shied away from every invitation (by my kids trying to gift me with such a visit) to have them touch me or my hair. I bought about a full set of stuff and do my own at home....in my own time too!! Sometimes, I think it's even better to have about 2-8 girlfriends and get each other's nails and hair done(house-party) - at least we would communicate, smile and get along just fine, while saving a ton o' $$$$!

What about the GREAT WALL OF ECHUCA ? The levee built along one side of the river is going to redirect their share of the flood water to the hundreds of homes on the other side meaning their homes could possibly completely go underwater as we saw in parts of QLD and NSW earlier this year. Thier council has had more than enough time to build a levee on BOTH sides of that river but chose NOT to protect the hundreds of homes on that other side. This is therefore NEGLECT and ignorance by that council, therefore the residents of those hundreds of homes that are not being protected should be able to take "Class Action" against that council for costs of damages to their homes and personal property ( but of course, if they did that and won the court case the council will massively increase rates to cover the cost of the compensation payout

First off thanks Geoffrey for this as I will explain a little later. I must say once I mention my age do not get some surveys. However, I feel that this is because companies want certain people with children etc. I am annoyed when I keep getting ones asking have you been on a diet program which comes up frequently and when the answer is no I do not count. I wonder if any have answered yes and they go on to be able to complete. However all in all I consider myself lucky and most days will get over 1000 points but sometimes even $2000. Very good and also there is the fact that if you are bored and really just not feeling like doing anything there are the games. lol

Hi Annette , first of congratulations on bubs ! And I gather it's your partner then who will have the optimal care of your little one while you are at work ?. If so, you should soon feel comfortable knowing he/ she is well taken care of in-between naps and you may get some cute little updates in your work breaks from your partner on daily progress . l found going back to work just for 2 half days was a great social break and gets you back to feeling a bit more like a regular person,(, sleep deprived and a bit cluckier or madder over some things) but if you find it's too much don't be afraid to cut down hours until you feel ready . I think though, if you like your job and the people there are supportive you will just ease back into a nice routine . Best of luck ;)

For example, if you click on a green-coloured survey, it will usually open a Samplicio.us survey in a new browser tab. However, sometimes the same survey might appear under two different colours. That and also completing or near enough a very long survey to be either told at the very end you do not qualify or when you submit all the answers or it goes to an error message or similar. Happens every day.

oh gosh i did mystery shopper for a while-it was awful- i couldn't beleve how much work was involved for a measly fee and no petrol reimbursement. The number of specific details and questions involved-that you have to remember as you can't take notes onsite. And then the report to type and submit. The place i did it for rated the report as well so you didn't get paid if not done correctly. Hopefully the place you do it for is ok tho! Now they are asking for installation of a User Zoom device, invasive questions about your banking accounts, access to mobile advertising, access to TV subscription data, ask you to go to sites and lie to get dummy insurance policies etc. They then pay you a reward not compatible with an award basic wage, screen you out for no reason at the end of a survey, even when you send in a screen shot saying that you have completed the survey, they pay only a pittance. I keep hoping for the days when I joined up of receiving much better points than now. The Co-vid crisis is long over. How much is Rewardia getting for every survey we do? I was a late starter and an early finisher. Thought I'd missed the bus. I read everything I could get my hands on. If you can get over the "morning sickness" everything after that is easy. Try to make sure you get sufficient sleep, the late months if I closed my eyes at work I wanted to go to sleep. After that first acceptance that you are Really pregnant it seems easy but do look after your health and try not get over stressed as you can't help all those hormones flooding through you. Hopefully your partner accepts that you also become very emotional at times, no you don't have that to yourself, we all did it. I had a different experience about 5 weeks ago, not Amazon, but worth telling. I was in my backyard at 5pm, doing some gardening when I heard a delivery truck. I checked down the side of the house to the front, and saw it was a Coles home delivery truck. I thought it was for the neighbors across the street, so I ignored it. About 10 minutes later I went to the front of the house. On my front steps were 15 bags of groceries and a carton of ginger beer - not mine (I don't do home delivery). I looked for a receipt or paperwork - nothing. I rang Coles local, and they put me through to their distribution center in Sydney, where they put me on hold for 15 minutes. I explained what happened, they put me on hold again. When they finally came back, they asked me if I wanted to keep the groceries or did my neighbors want some of it. Could I take it inside and refrigerate what needed to be and keep the rest. The driver can't get back to my street that night and once I take it inside, they cannot then ask for it back due to security issues, Coles would then send out a new order to the original shopper. I said thanks, took some things to my neighbor and kept the rest. We estimated that it was a full family shop ($350). I spoke to the phone operator and asked questions. If it happens again, just take everything inside. Once it's in your house, it's yours, they won't knock on the door and ask for it. Ka-ching! Merry Christmas!

I finally made it to the leader board this week. You need to get those bonus points by having the least number of jewels at the end of the round. You have to work out the patterns, ie: 1st round they only go down, 2nd round they only go up....Once you do this you can target which groups to click on. And when you have single jewels it's best to match those first instead of 'already grouped' jewels\ud83d\ude0a.

I've been top of the Free Cell Solitaire game a number of times and didn't win anything. I don't think you get any extra points with any of the games if you go top.

I have a very unprofitable business - online medical transcriptionist. Basically it is only what I would call a hobby, but I do not have to rent premises and there are no overheads. Basically I just wake up in the morning and sit at my computer and start typing. I do not even use any paper, just send the transcripts back via the server. This time around with the lockdowns things do not seem quite as bad. The last time some of my kids were out of work for quite a while and had to use up their holiday leave. This time they are all still working.

Rewardia should pay out only to paypal...like everyone else..but they don't which leaves us all vulnerable...luckily this site is so mean that you won't have anything worth declaring...the tax office might even give you a refund because they feel sorry for you!
