Nothing. I’m sure they’ve lived together and have all the household goods that they need already. I don’t believe in paying an admittance fee to someone else’s events.

when I book a room I always book under the name improvement, why because there is always room for improvement... sorry have a dad joke virus

Wow, embarrassing for you both! I still get a laugh when years ago when I was a child, I was outside with my mom and a bee flew up her pant leg. Worried she'd get stung, she took her pants off right there in the front yard. Then she ran in. There was just 1 neighbor out on their porch lol.

Souls, I can’t wait for the Orange one with the fake hair to pop on down here, we have a wonderful room for him, right beside Hitler and Stalin’s room, and the one across the corridor is being kept vacant for Putin. They will have a great time trying to out yarn each other about how great they were at conning the masses into following their deluded plans to further their own greatness.

It's the same here in Australia too. There is a closed down school near us with a house all boarded up. Yet there are people screaming out for some where to live, homelessness has gone through the roof. It's just a waste and because no one is using the school it is going down hill at a great rate of knots. There's even a tennis court, why couldn't some government department turn the old school into some accommodation for the needy even if it is only a temporary fix. At least it would be being used again instead of rotting away before our eyes. The owners of any run down building or premises should be made to clean them up. My parents had a vacant block in Brisbane and Dad used to get letters from the council to clean it up and people used to dump stuff on it. I remember helping them clean it up and I fell over some tyres that some body had dumped there. They ended up selling the land because they received a good offer on it and it then saved them from having to maintain it too. So where is the fairness letting other people get away with not maintaining their properties? I guess letters don't get passed on to the owners but after a certain amount of time has lapsed surely there is more they can do.

One time when the traffic lights turned green and I stayed stopped, the idiot behind me honked his horn ... despite the fact that there was an ambulance with its lights and siren going obviously about to go through the intersection from the other direction and going through where we were about to turn. 🙄

I have only ever had one dream about a future event...that was David Bowie's death...aside from that it has always been a fantastic floor show of great experiences all laced together... even the Bowie dream was good...he and I were talking and laughing together in a pub...as he got up to go I said "wait a minute...aren't you david bowie?"..he said "no mate...he's dead"..and then he laughed... that was three weeks before his death was reported...

I can kind of relate to what your asking because, at some point in the near future, I will be in a similar one, one in which my OWN children and my father, if I told him beforehand, would strongly oppose! I am one of 2 children and I'm the oldest by almost 2 years. Now I had my 5 kids early in life and my brother and his wife were in their mid to late 30's before they decided to become parents. When his youest child was just 10 my brother died in a vehicle crash at age 53. At that point he cut off his relationship with his grandchildren, my brother's children. I believe this was due to him hating my ex SIL as she had ended their marriage, but they were not yet divorced. I had to tell my father that my brother was dead, which was horrible, but it was NOT my SIL's fault that my brother chose to speed up the highway at 150 kms per hour as he was heading to see a woman that he had recently begun seeing. He still lived in a caravan on the property he owned with his current wife and it was VERY amicable and my SIL was aware of the woman my brother was going to see and she herself had begun a new relationship. This is important for the next part of the story. My brother had mental health problems throughout his life and my SIL had been extremely supportive and did everything she could to help him. Consequently she did a LOT of the parenting over the years. But when my father heard about their relationship ending he developed a hatred towards her because she was already in a relationship with a friend of theirs and after the actual funeral service, before his own grandchildren could come out and see him, he left. After that point he cut them off financially and hasn't seen them since before the death over 4 years ago. My father's Will now states that I get everything when he dies. Now this would be great for me as I don't own a home of my own and I could buy one, but it's NOT right and my intention is to go against my father's wishes and divide the Estate in 2, giving my neices and nephew what they would have been entitled to had their father not died. It will mean that my own children will get less between them once I too die however it is the ONLY way I can live with! Thanks for reading and I apologise for it being so long!

My father in law always hugged and kissed me far too long. Always felt he was over stepping boundaries. My hubbie didnt seem to understand, or didnt want to say anything to his dad, it got to the stage that i avoided getting to close to him so that he couldnt hug me.

It all depends on circumstances on why you separated and why now you want to get back together again. One size doesnt fit all

The hair dresser was trying a style that he/she had not done before but they were still using their time so they must be paid. The hair style probably could be repaired, that is cut a little more for aa different style. Anyway, in a few short weeks the hair is back and the "new" cut can be tried again. Only Karen's refuse to pay, if you were the hair dresser would you want and expect to be paid? Yes, very likely, so pay up.

It will depend on your RATIONALE: WHY you did not finish the other two 'programs (academic community)' you took while you were in college - previously? Or are you a professional student (and not aware of the fact (?)). Whether it is worth going to academia for the 'third time' - is STRICTLY your decision (your life) and maybe 'involving' a conversation with your WALLET!

you need to report her to the police what she is doing is illegal maybe you can get your husband to talk to her with you there and he can tell her that he is not interested in her anymore and is happily married

I have no problem using bamboo cuttlery because being a plant it should dispose quicker than plastic. I dont taste any bamboo on the cuttlery and if you dobt enjoy using put a set of cuttlery from your homes to use. That way you can take then home to be wasged abd put back in your vehicle for the next time it is needed. That way you cab have the best of both worlds. Just a thought

I do not know I'm only 57 years into my first marriage. She still gives me a kind smile and a cuddle.

Everyone deserves luck or good fortune - PERIOD!

Just stick to normal local bank term deposits. They're much safer - let the bank take the risk of the ups and downs of the stock market. Stay well away from stupidities like cryptocurrency and transferring money to overseas "companies" that are more likely just scams!!

If you strive to always have SOMETHING in your pantry then I would strongly suggest that you get multiples of everything starting now! As much as MSM won't talk about it, there IS going to be a global famine and even now it has begun in African and some poorer Middle Eastern countries too. There is simply NOT going to be enough food to feed everyone and with a deficit in supply only one thing is certain and that is that prices will continue to rise in ways that we who have grown up over the last 50 years have never conceived of! Farmers are being told NOT to grow food or they have seen prices for fertilisers go up so high, if available at all, that it isn't worth planting crops but taking the insurance money for a lost crop instead. The "environment" has become the reason for the slaughter of millions of additional animals which would not have ended up on our plates this year or next because the "Nitrogen Minister" of a country has stated that the animals have to go so that "Mother Earth" is saved from the ravages of sheep and cows! Crops are failing due to inclement weather either drowning the plants or drought drying them out. Water is and will continue to be restricted for farming and even the growing of rice, a stable food item on the menu of billions of people all around our planet isn't forgotten by the architects of this intentional disaster. There IS a war on food and if you and your loved ones WANT to eat in the years to come you MUST make ready now before supply slows and rationing becomes widespread. It sounds science fiction or like a novel but we are ALL going to go through times we simply can't begin now to imagine in our near future! Fill up that pantry now, buy as many Mason jars as you can find and fill them, get kilos of salt as it's a valuable commodity and plant a garden with non GMO seeds! All the best to you all.

Experienced all the big quakes in Christchurch 2010/2011. The 7.1M/depth 10km in 2010 was at 430am. I woke instantly and knew - I genuinely thought the house was collapsing so ran outside although that was hard to do. I thought my heart would explode it was beating so fast. I left the doors open overnight for a month after that. The 6.3M and 6.1M /depth 5km earthquakes that killed nearly 200 people in 2011 was mind-blowing in its violence- you were glued to the spot by the gravitational forces. I was in the kitchen at work and clung desperately to a doorway. The noise was totally deafening. It was just random luck if you happened to be in a structurally safe building or not, whether you were safe, injured or killed, how damaged or liveable your home was. The shallower the earthquake, the worse the effects. After months of aftershocks (had about 10000), I naturally only took direct Drop-Cover-Hold action for quakes longer than 5 seconds and over about M4.5. I started hyperventilating at the occasional bigger ones only several years later. I only ever had nightmares about tsunamis and not earthquakes- go figure. It took five years for workers to turn up and re-level my house floor. Mother Nature rules…we are just fleas on a dog’s back along for the ride.

we see Auckland CBD as well as Rangitto island, since we have 3 windows in our bedroom-fantastic views

Do you really care what other people think? I know I don't. Live your life how you want it to be not what others want. I'm retired and have lots of "free" time. But always busy doing something, surveys included and answering forums like this one.

What's the point of Medicare these days.. it's ridiculous how expensive the doctor has become. We are slowly becoming americanised and no one will be able to afford to even go to hospital eventually. It's pretty pathetic to be honest.

When my children were pre-teens my husband was very often away, often for months at a time with the RAN so I ruled my home with an iron rod. If I hadn't my life would have been hell. They were children and had rules and rarely needed to be punished. There was no acting up or swearing, they were allowed out to play but had a time that they had to be home. I really didn't ever have a problem with any of them and they were church goers. They are all married now with children of their own, they were never in any trouble, didn't do drugs and were not drinkers. They also stayed at home until they married which was late in their 20"s. My mother always said I had turned my sons into sooks but their wives tell me a did a brilliant job with them. Because dad was usually not here my boys were quite close to me and were always very helpful to their mum. One rings 2 or 3 times a week for a chat.

KIRSTY IF YOU WISH TO GET RID OF THE FLU YOU HAVE TO GO TO BED WITH 3 MEN,CAPTAIN MORGAN, JIM BEAN AND JOHNNY WALKER

I do not regret but at times realise that they are just not me so I give them to Lifeline. All my good clothes I no longer wear I give to the charity shop. I actually have 2 bags in my boot ready to go there but I still have a bit of my robe to go through.

The shoe phone the best invention. Thankyou Maxwell Smart.

no, not everyone who wants to be able to use it wants it for medical purpose. If alcohol is legal when used responsibly, then marijuana should also be legal under the same regulations.

I would give some to my family and keep a bit for myself, but what I would really love to do with the money would be book tickets for Brisbane and visit Australia Zoo :D Also I would donate lots of the remaining money to their Wildlife Hospital and conservation work

I am not entirely sure what to make of little Greta...the things she says are valid and somebody has to be saying them....she looks like an angry little gnome....and considering her age...and that English is also her second language...her vocabulary and ability in structuring her sentences clearly demonstrate that she a tiny genius with a mental age of around 25....or someone else is writing all her material and isn't that good at it.... it at least needs to sound like she wrote it....

Just who is responsible for this big rise in Inflation? The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) must think the blame rests on those on middle, low and fixed incomes for it is they whom the RBA is punishing. Yes, the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows that people are spending more for the Retail Figures have gone up. What the RBA does not seem to understand is that Retailers have been Increasing Prices - with, on average, the Supermarkets recording a 21.7% INCREASE in their Prices! So, of course, the Public are spending more BUT are they actually Buying More or is it simply that they are buying the same amount, or less, but paying 21.7% more for it? The Big4 Banking Cartel and, to a lesser degree the smaller Banks, Credit Unions etc. have steadfastly refused to pass on Interest Rate Increases to Depositors but have wasted no time in Increasing Interest Rates against those who have borrowed money from them! At the same time when the RBA Reduces Interest Rates, the BIg4 Cartel - all of whom make well in excess of $AU6 billion, post Tax, profits - immediately move to Reduce Interest rates to Depositors but drag their heels for Months in reducing the Interest rate they charge Borrowers. The Federal Government should pass Legislation making it mandatory that every Increase/Decrease in Interest Rates is passed on In Full to both Depositors and Borrowers and that they do it within 7 days of moves by the RBA. They entire Financial System is now based on one thing: GREED and Greed leads to Corruption.

Isn't the problem today that people want their McMansion, a huge house with 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 3 car - they must, of course, be BMWs, Mercedes 4WDs - Garages, the obligatory Pool, Top-of-the-range BBQ, A kitchen with the latest hi-tech, most expensive equipment, a den, an office, a rumpus room, a formal lounge or two. Yes, you can have all trhat straight away IF you win Lotto but you know that is in all probability not going to happen. Our parents started Small and gradually over the years moved into, if not bigger, certainly better houses. Today's younger people want, no they Need, Instant Gratification, they think they are Entitled to it - despite not having the money to pay for it. As we have seen in Australia, and reportedly overseas as well, there was a huge spike in the price of houses in recent years, Interest Rates were low, and Yes, Australia's Reserve Bank told us that they would remain low until at least 2024 which was wrong but it was inevitable they would start to go up sometime. Young people kept on borrowing huge amounts of money without giving a thought to the future. They wanted and "Must Have" everything. Interest Rates started to rise and have kept rising. House Prices are dropping, wages are remaining stagnant and now people are in trouble. Their houses are now worth less than what they owe the banks, eventually people won't be able to keep up the payments, the banks will foreclose and then what? People will start demanding that "The Government does something". I make no apology for writing this, but people have brought this on themselves. Greed and Self-Gratification are now the God Kings.

Being together without contention and not having to be doing something special to have good, quality time with your family. It's the little things that matter most. Sure doing activities is great. But it isn't a prerequisite to quality time with family. Just be....and appreciate each other.

This is a question...not a discussion.... because there is nothing to discuss...is there?..all I can discuss is your question...so I am trying....

Parents got drunk on French wine, I popped out nine months later. My name is the nearest recollection of the wine label.

I quite like the short surveys about new product or advertisement concepts, they usually pay reasonably well. Also the Red surveys usually give me 30 points compensation when screened out.

try growing them in your own garden, they take up vey littl room and taste s a lot better than the ones you bu in a supermarket,

I'm not impressed by them. You still have to make the cars and that involves the usual stuff. You have to generate more electricity to accommodate the increase in electric cars and of course outlets all over the place. I guess we need the cons and negatives to really understand if there are any actual benefits. Of course, the world is probably running out of oil so this could be the impetus to change the fuel. My car is 20 years old and I just had it serviced and checked and it is in good nick. Mind you I have not even reached 70000ks yet so I do not drive much and most of those k's were in the first 10 years. lol

Reputation in the real world (remember that) is hard won and defended...online variants are laughable...so much can be twisted and distorted..or just open and unsupported lies

I think it's wrong for the banks to do that. They should contact the customers first before doing so.

Up to the own. My sister dress her German sheeper up cloths but the dog pulled the cloths off each time. Will how is the boss?. The dog.

Never burn your bridges unless there are a lot of Russian tanks on them at the time....and....come on everyone..... when life throws you some gristle....have a little whistle......AND...always look on the bright side of life....

It is a common term of politeness but I do struggle to come up with more than "Good thanks And yourself ?" But I do find the greeting between blokes The "Hey how they hangin ? " A tad harder to reply to

I'm not slim and don't try to be. Overweight but at my age why worry. I can get around, play bowls and am mobile. Better than many 80 year olds.

Perfection is a personal ideal. You can be a better version of yourself without having to be better than others. Better isn't necessarily perfect, but it's the best I've got.

Maybe there are more people now than there used to be. I have no idea how people can afford to take their families when everyone says how poor they are! Secondly, nothing is the same the second time. I lived in Sydney for six months with my fiancée, and it was a wonderful time. I know if I went back, it would never be the same. Besides, we're divorced now. I went back to where I was raised, and all I did was cry because all my memories of being a kid weren't there. Everything had changed! It's best to keep old memories and make new ones!

As its 19 years to the day since my own dear mother died from breast cancer at the young age of 62, I would agree that existing products such as the one referred to SHOULD be made available. There's a lot of government money spent on utter nonsense that surely funding should be made available to save many, many women just like my own mum. Thanks for reading.

My sister and I were the closest of friends but she passed a couple of years ago. I have a couple of neighbours I am friendly with and can ask for help within reason but not the same closeness. I agree, if you are not in a social circle it is hard to make friends. Some of the older people go out and about but I am a bit of a home body mainly and I really cannot stand being with a lot of people anyway.

I thought I would have my honeymoon on the moon. Look at how far things have come but we still have wars and people still kill people. Maybe we should work on that.

It was all a con, saves the supermarket money and makes it money. We are all wrapping our dog poo in paper, right? what about all these masks, PPE, testing plastic...where is THAT going?

Yes, just look at Putin, I'd put him in the same class as Hitler or Mussolini. Sometimes, stupid people seem to want to change the past.

I would be terrified AND confused....I don't know what a banana box is! ..and why would you have a banana box in your house in first place?...you would probably have to eat a lot of bananas....or you would you be working on a plantation or something?

tried both and the smallest towns I ever lived in were ships at sea. That's a real test to see if you can get on with your "neighbours". Joy L., I learned to spell, too, never seen versers before, guess there's a first time for everything.Small towns? It only takes one person to start a rumour about you for whatever reason, and you're sunk.

I travelled through rural area's on a holiday and saw a lot of dead animals such as wombats and kangaroo's. There are signs asking people to reduce their speed for the sake of the poor animal.

Only if there is an outbreak. I'm fortunate to be living in Perth where there has been no community transmission for nine months.

Stop the breeding, Humans can’t care for themselves let alone another species, When will we learn that the planet isn’t here to entertain us.

Enjoy a lovely meal with my family. My brothers and their family is in Melbourne and we miss them. We are in Perth.

Too damn right, I’d do more of the same, as much as I can get. I’m gonna live till I’m dead then I’m coming back for a bit of haunting …..lol

Between 2% and 6% of the US population are hoarders. In the US it is called Hoarding Disorder (HD). Men are more likely to become hoarders then women. HD can severely affect (in a negative manner) your "mental health" - trust me - I know! Extreme HD can lead to your apartment becoming a potential fire hazard - if you are a smoker. Warning signs you are a hoarder (if you reside in the US): 1. You live alone 2. You are more likely to be obese then then the average person 3. You are a perfectionistic 4. You still have at least one family member who is STILL a hoarder (that you came in contact with on a daily basis at one point in your life). I used to be hoarder till I recognize I had a "problem (HAHA)". I started seeing a pysychologist to deal with my "problem" (31 years ago) - and I was able to stop beginning a hoarder for the last 29 years of my life! Yes, I am OLD! However, the urge to hoard stuff still lurks in me - I learned with the help of professional (pyschologist) to keep hoarding at bay for the rest of my life! NO! You can not literally (with your own stuff) hold onto your PAST forever - regardlessly how hard you try! Time moves on - you have to learn to adapt and move on - or you will trap yourself in the past (with your own stuff).

THEY DONT TREAT CHICKENS LIKE ANYTHING OTHER THAN EGG MAKERS. ITS REALLY SHOCKING. IVE WORKED IN ONE. MADNESS AND CREULTY, JUST LIKE OVERSEAS. I THOGHT WE DID BETTER IN OUR COUNTRY. THE CHICKENS ARE KEPT AWAKE 24/7 SO THEY LAY ONE EGG EVERY 12 HOURS. HONESTLY, I CANT SAY DESGUSTING OFTEN ENUFF. I CANT EVEN SPELL IT PROPERLY COZ IM SO MAD AT HUMANS

I have been badly scarred by a sociopath who has no real feelings. I would never seek revenge but I can't forgive. Everything he did was wrong and he has no sense of remorse. What's the point of endorsing his actions by forgiving?

I park as far away from the shops as possible. Most cars that have trouble getting into a shopping centre carpark are four wheel drives. I think shopping centre carparks should have a separate area for these big cars to park in. They don't only cause trouble when they are parking but make it impossible for a small car to see around them when trying to get out of a car park.

This has to be a joke. Children are just that, children, and to my mind children should be seen and not heard. Why would they have a say? They don't earn a living, they go to school to learn. It seems to me that parents do not want the responsibility of rearing children and want children to rear themselves. How can a child possibly have the maturity, experience and knowledge to even be given consideration in making life changing decisions. Children deserve a childhood free from such things, no worry or responsibility, that will come soon enough. If an adult feels the need to check with a child for permission to lead his or her life then perhaps they should remain childless. Is it any wonder there are so many horrid bratty children out there, they don't have a parent they have another friend. Stop frightening them with climate change, possible war, sustainability and all that other rubbish. Why scare them with things that might never happen. I remember the Cuban missile crisis and asked my father "will there be a war", he told me I was not to worry about it or be concerned but to let adults sort it out. Indeed they did and my father was right, as a child I had no need to worry. Do not put grown up heads on little shoulders. Let them be children.

I would not take my dog on public transport. I would not take myself on it if I can help it. Not travelled on one for many years. If the bus/train are crowded this would upset the dog and certainly many people are frightened of dogs and this could cause a problem and I think the dog would come off second best. If you cannot walk the dog to where you want to go then leave it home.

Crime will always be around. (unfortunately) The legal system is very broken. One person can commit a crime and get probation. The next guy does the very same thing, and he will get 2 years. Crimminals really are not afraid of the justice system.

My grandmother had 2 small children during WW2 and they fled Malaya and ended up in Western Australia, she lost a baby on the journey. My grandpa ended up a prisoner for years. Any way my grandma was one of the first in Australia to put strawberries into vanilla ice cream. She made quite a bit of money for her self and her 2 children. They waited until grandpa could come back and then went back to the UK. My parents settled back here once they were married. I am proud to say I am in charge of our finances, I pay all the bills and I know where every cent has gone or where it needs to be. I do believe some women aren't allowed to have their own money in some marriages. Me kind of included the first time around. Not the case this time. It certainly makes a change. I still have my own bank account and I transfer what I want when I want.

first I would not go to the casino, I only buy lotto tickets, and if ever I won money I would share with my sons, plus I would give the birthday girl a few dollars depending on how big a jackpot and the rest I will buy an RV and travel the country from one end to the other, I miss my traveling days, thanks to NSW Premier that let the dreaded Covit In

Getting to sleep is very much like the type of dreams you have when you fall asleep. The length of time it takes to get to sleep depends entirely on things like medical conditions, the amount of stress you were under that day, problems in your life, noise around you, and how active your mind is when you go to bed. The best way to get a good night's sleep is to try to clear your mind of all worries before going to bed or failing that, to listen to some relaxing music in bed. NO eating for at least one hour before going to bed, NO computer use for at least one hour before going to bed, leave your mobile ( cell ) phone in another room, NOT worry about things you have to do the next day instead write a list of those things before going to bed. Having said all of that, I am the type of person who cares about others and worry a lot about things which are going on in the world and it takes me between one and four hours to get to sleep ( Living on a highway with traffic all day / night does not help either ). As a result of this, I average 3 to 4 hours of sleep at night, then I get up and do surveys, then do whatever else I need to do that day then have 2 to 4 hours sleep during the day. Counting sheep does not always work for some people because if you go to bed hungry then while you count the sheep they might start turning into lamb chops LOL

I honestly thought this was already happening. We are eventually going to run out of space for graves in our cemeteries, as interesting as it is seeing the historical graves from over 100 years ago it may come down to those sites needing to be reused... More and more people seem to be opting for cremation nowadays however, so maybe it won't be as big an issue as predicted... Cemeteries may well become more for those that are religiously inclined. I know all my family are wanting to be cremated, personally I like the idea of those environmental burial pods where you go in the ground and return to the earth; plant a tree on top of me and I will be happy :)

I sometimes take old towels, blankets and such to the animal shelter near me. I cannot understand cruelty to any living thing. To see animals being hurt in any way sickens me. .

Europe has a good infrastructure and not so long distances.Australia is completely different and I dont think electric cars are suitable at the moment. There is not even the necessary infrastructure and also the grid is already now on its limits.I will not buy an electric vehicle anytime soon

I like to get out & go for a walk in nature, amongst the trees. Sit under a big tree or hug a big tree. Let all your worries & stress go then. Nature is a good healer in my opinion. Be free & relax with nature. Get away from the hussle & busyness of everyday life. Relax & feel free Angel in a natural environment. Natural nature will refresh you & relax you. I guarantee it.

I like to try recipes from different eras, the ones from the 1930s are particularly good for anyone on a tight budget as they were developed for the depression into the era of food rationing during WWII

Maybe I am "old school" but I believe both partners should show their love and commitment to one another by wearing wedding bands.

No!, keep them away, give little people a bit of power, it goes to their heads, solar panels are good for the world, some little idiot should not have a say, fight on, you're doing a good thing.

I had sleep aponea at 80%, could not cope with that machine so i went on a weight loss programme and lost seven stone. Everyone i knew told me it wouldnt help but hey guess what it did and i no longer need the machine and sleep six to seven hours solid per night .

I’d have a lot more money, and also avoid all those sneaky surveys where you get the boot after completing 98% of them..

If they wanted their privacy they would be avoiding the Media and Oprah like the plague. It is so disrespectful what they have done to the Royal family.

No, my poor old Ragdoll is on her last legs and waiting for God. The vet has checked her and says she is not in pain but just fading so to wait a bit yet but it’s hard to see her like that. She’s 20 so not bad eh?

I'm Australian as was my parents & grandparents, why do I have to bend over backwards to appease the indigenous people of this country that my family help build to today's standards I'm getting sick and tired of the racist remarks of the aboriginals, they get insulted with the word black but wear black shirts and clothing with their own flag on it and everywhere else.

Parking lots are shared spaces with pedestrians so extra care is needed. I really hate it when you’ve backed half way out and some brainless kirp roars around the back looking so indignant and flips you off. No patience, 5 seconds and the job is done

One, not every family can afford (for one parent to stay at home - the harsh realties of life). Two, not every child needs supervision (I know a lot of latch-key children who went on to become happy, well-rounded, and successful adults). Three, not every family has a support system (grand parents and/or extended family) to help raise a child. Four, this is not an issue where one solution works for every family (PERIOD). Five, MAYBE we new tougher standards for people to become a parent (obvious - what we have now - is not working). Six, I am not a parent (don't have any children) - I am definitely not the parent type - and I realizes that early in life (I got a vasectomy - did not become sexual active till I got a vasectomy)! Seven, I don't have a solution (other then 20th Century thinking (this is the 21st Century)) is NOT the solution - we need an array of (new) ideas not based on 20th century thinking!!

No eating or drinking before bedtime, it makes me feel bloated. Listen to some soothing music or watch something on TV that can make you nod off. Lol!!!!

Absolutely NOT compulsory. The flu vaccination system works without being compulsory - why should anything else change this procedure. Malaria kills millions of children per year too and measles is much more contagious. There is much to consider.

I live in a rural area and absolutely love it. Rail - hmmm - what rail??? - We used to have one in Cowra, NSW, but the government decided to close it because it was not making enough money. Same thing happened with the airport. Now the only way people can get here is by train to Bathurst and bus the rest of the way, or you can drive the four hour drive. With due respect to Council, they need to try and get our train lines open again.

Although this year was terrible for many who have lost their lives but we will cheer those who have overcome their adversity & are here to celebrate the New Year with some trepidation but also hope that we will become stronger & more caring for our family, friends and neighbours

I'm afraid I don't have very much luck with the machines, they don't seem to even what to take my money! You can hear the machines moaning when I walk up to them! And yeah, agree with David S, jobs being eroded.

It's sad that this question implies that dieting is normal - please love yourselves and don't fall into the trap of thinking that you need to be any kind of preferred 'normal' whether that be big, small or any combination of body shapes. When you die the only thing that matters is who you were which shouldn't be defined by appearance. Just aim for the kind of healthy that allows you the freedom to do the tasks you need to, have enough energy to get the job done and enough love and mental peace for those who mean the most.

Merry Christmas every one, let's hope there is more compassion and love in the world in 2026. Have a great time no matter where you are and with what you have planned for the festive season, Good luck, stay calm and enjoy good foods with family and friends.

I like the older cars with manual transmissions and wind down windows which are plus for safety. If you break down you can push the car and even push start it. If you go into water you can wind the windows down and get out not so in electric cars etc. There is so much going on in the new cars that it is distracting the drivers.

I never thought I looked like Mum really ... but never forget once in a shopping centre a couple years ago ... a lady stopped me and said "You are ........'s daughter" Complete stranger.

I love most seafood but do not like oysters. The appearance of them and the texture is revolting. Yet many people seem to think they're marvellous. I also think kangaroo is disgusting too. Plenty fellow Aussies seem to think it's marvellous, but to me it smells and tastes like it's off.

In general I have found most In Laws are what you make them. I have seen MIL's that have been very pushy ..... but you just have to set boundries. If your In Laws are doing something you are not happy with - be honest AND TELL THEM (politely). Something like "I appreciate what you are saying ... but these are my kids - my rules". If a MIL is to cut your child's hair without FIRST checking with you - I can assure you she would NOT DO IT TWICE in my house. She would get very cool treatment from me. I do agree that it is often a MIL who is not happy about who her son has chosen..... a very stupid woman I say.

I admit, I have a smoothie nearly every morning for breakfast. I often have a quiche or peanut butter sandwich for lunch, and meat and vegies for dinner, (about 3 x a week) I recently read the Whole meal Bread with Smooth peanut butter, No sugar/salt, actually helps your weight and digestion when eaten before bed. So that's my new favorite bedtime snack. It seems to help. Ive been dieting for 6 months. I lost 25 kgs but am a bit stuck for loosing the last 20-15 kgs. In the last month, Ive gone back up 1 kg...grrr... AnY tips? Im trying to Eat Less and Move More.

I've done it. And if you truly love people and want to help someone who isn't old enough to speak up for themselves, I recommend you do it as well. I grew up in a home where my parents nearly always had 1-3 foster children sharing our lives. We learned as children that fosters come and go, but we were able to adopt 2 of the boys. They are my brothers through and through. The girls that I fostered were being abused, both 16 years old. One was being beaten regularly by her mother and stabbed once, the other was being raped by her mother's live-in boyfriend. The time with them was only a few months each but it was enough to let them know there are good people in the world and both changed into good people themselves. One has a lovely family and the other is a veterinary technician. Both are happy:) I very highly recommend fostering if you honestly feel your heart wanting to help. You don't get much financially, but you get loads in return emotionally. As much as you know they will most likely be leaving your home at some point, each and every one of them stay in your heart forever. You love with all purity of intentions and build them up and show them good in their world. You will make a positive difference for each child.

Tell them that whilst you were preparing dinner you tested it for taste and now you feel ill! 🥴

My friends jealous because my puppy is better looking than hers .. we are both still besties and always will be ..

I'm 57. Both my parents worked. Neither had CEO wages. I went to pre school as soon as I was old enough. My grandparents didn't babysit because they lived too far away. I'm tired of people whining about lack of money. If you get your priorities right there's no reason why you can't live and save on two incomes. It's been done for decades. Society today spends too much on new cars, TV subscriptions, mobile phones. Inet plans, tatoos and false nails! To name a few! Learn the difference between wants and needs!

Christmas time to me is all about giving not receiving. If you really want to give a gift donate a child's toys under the Kmart tree for a child in need. Or perhaps donate an amount that you can afford to charity.

I overtook a guy 2 days ago and he obviously didn't like being overtaken by a woman because he rammed his car into mine and ran me off the road! I guess it's not technically an accident as he did it on purpose.

i think there is more drugs than ever and the way things are going we will have a lot of Zombies in the future
