Here in Australia most violent home invasions and car thefts are carried out by Sudanese teens. Most rapes and sexual assaults are carried out by Indian and Asian males. These Sudanese people come from a country where there is lots of violence and many poor people so stealing is their way of life in order to survive and this is instilled into their brains. Just like a dog or wild animal will bury their uneaten food, to return to when they cannot find fresh food to eat... When these people migrate to another country this method of living is etched deep within their brain therefore they continue living that way in their new country. When these people ( and other people from violent and poor countries ) immigrate to new countries, the Government needs to teach these people that they DO NOT need to behave that way to survive in that new country. As for the high number of Indian males who rape, attempt rape or carry out other sexual offending they come from a country where this type of behaviour is basically approved of and where some male police officers and defence force people carry out sexual crimes then get away with it. When these people immigrate to other countries the Government needs to teach them that this is NOT normal behaviour and NOT tolerated in that country. Having said that; I MUST also add that I have nothing against the Sudanese, Indians or Asians and NOT all males from those countries behave in these ways; just some.

I was forced to retire at 60 when a raft of medical conditions culminated in my first heart attack...lost home, lost everything and now just on a Disability Pension - Rent alone takes more than half of that a fortnight - If you have the luxury of planning when to retire do it when you own your home and have enough in your Super or Savings to see you through to your expected Expiry Date!

I believe it depends on the demographic Catherine! - If you learnt manners 50 or so years ago or more - you are, I believe generally quite polite but for those educated in the 80's onwards they're taught they are entitled and how dare you expect them to be polite (or anything as the world owes them a living and you'll not get in their way-smack on childish bottoms? No Way!)

Yes of course, one of my houses is built on the site of a former leper colony. I have seen ghosts in there for the last 20 years. However they do not steal my beer so I am fine with them hanging out in the place.

Doctors are forced to charge high rates so they can cover their university fees plus staff wages and other general business fees. Also every time they attend a routine status upgrade session to improve their abilities, they have to pay to this - so they need to cover this.

ask a politician this question and sit back and listen to the crap that would pure from them ALL.....

Homeschooling and online learning are two totally different things. To homeschool your child, you need to get approval from the Education Department, and need to demonstrate to them the level of work that is being achieved. It is hard work, and you need to link in with other homeschooling families in order to share lesson plans and ideas, organise excursions etc. It becomes its own school community. It’s not a choice that I would normally make, but was left with no other option for my 13 yo daughter at the time. Unfortunately, as several people have said, some schools and teachers, are not that great at teaching. In fact some educational environments are so caught up in worrying about things that are not important like, wearing the right coloured socks, not mixing any summer uniform with winter uniform, making sure children have their hair in one of 28 approved hairstyles like Kim Jong-Un, that they forget they are supposed to be providing a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment. Teachers are often the bullies. They have no life experience as they have never left school, so have no understanding of what’s going on in the lives of their students, and how to engage them. Schools and teachers (mostly) are not that good for many students. What is needed is an improvement to our education system.

as a parent of 2 special needs children ( now Adults in age) I would be aware of many different reasons, Child abusers who are the ones that are killing our children by abuse do not display their actions in public, and many time's discipline is more about safety issues, protecting the child from danger

What sort of lunatic is advocating this nonsense? I didn't have a father after I was 11 - he died - but I didn't grow up all warped and twisted because my friends did. Teachers should stick to teaching the three R's. There are kids who can't read, write or do simple maths and their general knowledge leaves a lot to be desired. So glad I'm at the older end of my life - too many stupid people in the world advocating crap thee days.

I really wish these militant vegans and vegetarians would show the same respect to meat eaters as we do to them: I do not try to convert them to be meat eaters or give them lectures on why a diet including meat is best or how some plant based crops use more resources than animal farming so WHY don't these vegans/vegetarians do the same?

Look at Trump! He should not have been allowed to get into the position he is in. Perhaps there should be a test of mental competence?!

After watching some of the Soap operas you would think that life is just one disaster after the other, no one seems to be happy and if they have a happy marriage something nasty will happen to end it, Coronation Street and Eastenders are full of things to ruin peoples lives, I often wonder with the young ones that watch these shows if they expect marriage break ups etc to be part of normal life. It would be really lovely to have happiness or contentment. I have always tried to look on the bright side of life but sometimes it is really hard.

When I was seven I see. but is eyes and a cut off hand. very horrifying.I I only learned later, where was the Japanese battlefield before. can't see when I grow up. Once staying in a hotel, the hotel actually gave us two people, a room with three beds. When I was sleeping, I heard someone talking to me in my ear. The problem was that I couldn't understand the words. He was like speaking French. I can't see anyone.

Why would you subject Mars to such punishment? There's no mirrors, make up or labels, and worst of all no social media!!!!!!! What will they do?

You failed to read the fine print before you made the purchase. Coming from that industry, it sucks...yes...but you bought something without reading the legal implications, thus, you contracted yourself to it. Shitty...agreed...but, thats the world we are in.

I'd shop around you are paying too much...Benson (that's him in the picture) only costs me $80 tops and sometimes less...and he is a pretty big dog... that is cheaper than Netflix...and I know which one I'd get rid off first!

I played baseball at a high level right up unti I was 21. I was scouted by the Los Angeles Dodgers at age 17...they had the rights to me for 5 years. I injured my knee at 19 and got over sports immediately. The irony is I can HARDLY watch baseball on TV, it is far better live.

Omg is that me talking………I really felt like I just wrote that. I can’t breathe lol it gave me anxiety I really thought I posted this. I’ve been separated from my husband since June that’s like 6 months. I’m still in shook I’ve been trying to survive this. I’ve been married for 17yrs and been there done that. I was mentally exhausted dealing with his drinking problems but I stood by his side no matter what but at the same time I was losing myself. I’m so used to him seventeen years never thought I’d make it that far with someone. We have no children together. I do love him but I think I out grew him. I changed I stopped drinking to make things better but he was still struggling. He said I gave up on him and we were supposed to be together til death do us part. But I was losing my mind over him. What do you think?????? Now he’s been living in an Rv trailer…..so long story short, don’t stay if you’re not happy

time spent with family is always worthwhile most of the times , my kids tend to treat me like a kid now because technology has surpassed my level of understanding, I had no idea my seniors card had a free bus pass on it until I spent 2 hours walking home having forgotten my wallet and I don't have a phone, where are all the phone booths ,I don't know life is moving way to fast

Gazumping is legally if it is based on a verbal offer; however, gazumping is illegally if it is based on a written offer (without stating the listed price was a starting point for negotiations). Still a lack of business ethics (under both circumstances) - which shouldn't surprise anyone on this planet (aka Earth)! FYI: Caveat Emptor applies in all business transactions (verbal and/or written)!

I experienced it in Shanghai. As I stood looking at the lights along the riverside a crowd of Chinese people who were tourists came past and somehow sucked me into the middle of the them. They were so crowded together I wasn't able to get out and was dragged along with them. I felt pretty stupid as I was far taller than they were but clearly they are very used to being "together". I started to feel afraid as I had no idea where "we" were going so I fought harder and eventually I was able to get out at the back by slowing down. Then I had to find my husband who wondered where I had got to because one minute I was there but the next gone. I walked back as he walked forward and I was very happy to see him. I am now very wary of crowds.

The government simply needs to make it illegal to own more than the one house you actually live in. It would solve numerous such issues.

You can achieve an education with money. Money offers financial stability. Money brings happiness (lack of survival issues). Money provides opportunities (on personal levels and business levels). Money offers social status, etc. (the more money you have - the better society treats you). 'We' all reside on a capitalistic planet (based on personal greed and corporate corruption). Other words, on a capitalistic planet - MONEY is WAY more important than attaining an EDUCATION (aka the Donald John Trump Effect/Capitalism). FYI: Money is not the root of all evil, people are the root all evil!

You answered yourself...."CONSIDERED as family". When you divorce...you are divorcing THE ENTIRE FAMILY. Same as when you married...you married INTO THE ENTIRE FAMILY. Only thing you should keep tabs on is if you had children together. You can be cordial, but you DO NOT need to be a part of their lives moving forward. And, by "their lives" I mean the rest of the family...not the kids, lol. Cut ties, it didn't work out...oh well. You don't have to hate anyone, but you also do not have to maintain relationships "just because".

Nobody should be allowed to buy an "investment property" nor a "flip property" - it should be illegal to own more than the one house you actually live in. Anything else is just pure greed at someone else's expense and simply causes increases for house prices. 😠

Not everybody needs to be a clever clogs. Where would the world be without its truck drivers, sales assistants, drain layers etc.

Easter is NOT about bunnies, but about a Living Lord Jesus Christ. Get to KNOW Him as your personal Lord and Saviour!

I called in on a friend and she was on the phone and sat in front of her computer... She acknowledged me, and indicated she was on phone so I put the kettle on for a cuppa and went back to the lounge which is where her computer was... suddenly realised she was about to give someone access to her pc, and I jumped in and got her attention, she told me what was happening and I advised her to call technical support herself if she was having problems cos it sounded like a scam to me. She ended the call immediately, she made the phone call and it was a scam. Thank goodness I dropped in when I did.

I ignore it! I don't have time for gossiping. If they can't say it to my face it's not worth me mentioning it.

Duh! Do not use Uber or Door Dash. Most folks have driving licenses and cars (I do not so I walk places my friends with vehicles cannot take me) and with an intelligent prez and veep in the White House again, fuel prices are coming down fast! Our local Turkey Hill gas prices drop by a penny a day and have ever since Harris opened her big mouth to bad-mouth Vance and Trumpy! The reason for the high Uber prices? The Uber drivers are fixing their own 'guesstimated' rates! Too many of us are just plain too damned lazy! You drive to a gym and exercise for an hour and then drive home again or to work! How re walking to the gym and then back home? I walk about 6 miles a day to and from our local parks and I am 75 years young!

I haven’t yet for vouchers etc as still building up points, I have a little over 40,000. Maybe vouchers and or cash back I’d go for. I’m promising myself to log in everyday this year, so far have missed one day lol …. good luck with points everyone 😊

For some it is buying everything on credit card, getting into heavy debt instead of saving for the items first as I was taught to do. To me doing that was a reward to myself. I have never had a Credit Card

The only reason to visit Gordon Ramsay would be to wash his mouth out with a ton of soap!! The guy shouldn't even be allowed on TV constantly swearing. 😠

I'm surprised to hear this. The kids I knew from a higher income bracket seemed more confident than many others.

the horse has bolted here I believe, 40 and still manipulating dad who will never be reigned in, as a dad/grandfather I have tried to give my kids everything I can but as they grow older the most valuable thing I can give them is advise not help, its dad who needs to close his wallet, reliance is an addiction and his daughter needs to learn to live below her means, life is tough and dad needs to start teaching life lessons its the best thing he can do for his daughter

Have read the comments with interest. I was 2 months from turning 16 when I met my husband at the local swimming pool. I was keen on one of the attendants but the one that walked me home was to be my future husband. The following day (Saturday) I ad to do some shopping at the local shopping centre & lo & behold, who do I see but my future husband (Dave). He couldn't remember the house number of the house where I lived, so he was riding his bike, hoping that by riding around, that it would jog his memory of where I lived. I called out to him & that was the start of us becoming a couple. That was the 30th June & on the 12th July, I asked him if we could get engaged as I knew he was going into the English army for 2 years National Service. Luckily, he said "yes" but I didn't an engagement ring until my 16th birthday which was in the August just prior to him doing his duty. We remained engaged until Dave got demobbed 2 years later which gave me time to save for my "bottom drawer" & to save up some money. The outcome of all this, is that last month we celebrated our 64th Wedding Anniversary. I can't say that it has always been easy but those 2 years being engaged gave us time to become friends, we've always tried to compromise & to talk things through. Afterall, we are each individuals with different opinions so you have to take this into consideration. We are both now in our 80's, do things together, as he does the cooking & I do food preparation, such as vegies etc. Still very happy to this day. Hope I haven't bored anyone with the story of my marriage.

I don’t have a problem admitting I’m wrong …. My partner however has a saying that goes “I’m not always right but I’m never wrong”

My wife is planning a trip for our 30th wedding anniversary to Switzerland and Netherlands so I guess that is where I would be going soon

I grew up in the 80s and all our toys were hazards. I had a barbie once, roller blading barbie, she had flints on her rollerblades, so I'd drag her across the floor or carpet and sparks would shoot out! I can't imagine something like that being sold today haha!

Education is never free, the question should be, should taxpayers pay for all education or should parents pay for some of the education their children get.

I once won a compèttion for a Canadian fair cake. But have lost the recipe if anyone has a copy could they please send it to me

Most cars will be made in China very soon. What the average Joe Blow doesn't seem to get is that China won't need a war to take over the western world. They own so much property in western countries, they control most of the western world one way or another. Our left wing goverments think the Chinese way is the way to go. I can only thank God that I was born when I was born an will miss the distruction of the western world as we know it.

What sort of doctor would do that. I was told I had cataracts for years but not bad but eventually he told me it was time to get the eyes operated on. I was informed all the time. I have an eye test every year and am sent a reminder. I am due for one now. I think sometimes one has to change their doctor or medical person just to keep them honest and yourself in the know. My sister was very ill and her doctor for 10 years kept saying it was nothing. She passed due to cancer that has spread through her body and this so called doctors lack of care. I always say get a second or even third opinion and if you still think something is wrong keep going. Many doctors fob women off as being hysterical, menopausal or whatever. Do not just accept their opinion. Investigate, educate yourself as much as possible and do not be afraid to ask the questions and demand answers. Of course, no need to be rude or abusive.

Schools are very unwilling to acknowledge this unless it happens right in front of a teacher. Perpetrators are smart, they pick their moments. That being said if the school won't help you there are a few things I found with my youngest son helped. Listen, so they feel heard and validated, talk about your child's feelings. Try and work out who is who in the zoo, your child's friends, the bully's as well as those that stand by do nothing . Encourage your child to avoid, those that harass them ,so not to be in an area of the school yard, walk away when being verbally harassed, ignoring them as bully's get bored pretty quick and move on if they can't get the reaction they want. If it gets physical they must report it to the teacher. Specifically in my son's case it got to the point where I told him to retaliate and stand up for himself as the teacher had no interest in his problems and would move him on. I told rhe school this, they weren't happy, but it made the bully think twice about tripping him over and pushing him down rhe stairs again. Finally I got a private councillor. After consulting my sons g.p he was put on a mental health plan* to support him and to get 5 sessions free of private councilling with a child specialist of my choice. Best thing I ever did. He had someone else to talk to,was given great advice, talked about coping with stress and bullying. * the session involved together councilling as a family and part individual which was confidential. Things rhe councillor thought I should know was discussed with my son and then we talked about it together. He continued going for 3 years. Now,he is 18,and happy, doesn't care who likes him or not and actually has had many of his ex bully's apologise to him. By the way ,when school found out about the councillor, they contacted them, but was told they couldn't discuss anything with them. The school offered a councillor for him, after 4 years of ignoring my son,we refused.

Waiting for too long sucks. I think it's better done before retirement, while one is still healthy and able bodied. But, it can still be done after retirement too, depending on personal circumstances.

We have a great bakery here in my town, the owner/ baker is French..he makes authentic croissants, sourdough etc .

Ice cream is the 8th wonder of the world, I have a shelf dedicated to ice cream in my freezer, You can celebrate/commiserate wins and losses,It is the ultimate answer when the kids are in dispute it also helps with falls,It is a great reward for anything that needs a reward, there are so many ways you can eat it, It is a wonderful product heaven sent

I guess they are trying their luck with a low ball offer to see if they can get lucky. The buyers want to get a lower price to reduce mortgage or if flipping have more funds to renovate. Also agree a lot of people want to walk into a house that’s done up and ready to move into but they should expect to pay more if they want something like that. Keep firm in the asking price if it’s comparable to others in the area and it’s a reasonable asking price. Hope it works out.

I recently became a certified master composter in NJ, I learned so much about recycling and the costs these facilities have to pay. If they don't make money to cover their employees and the overhead they will shut down. Now that China won't take our recycling we have a huge problem. We use the items and we have a responsibility to get rid of the left over from the product. I am 1 of 6 people who are involved in collecting soft plastics for the Trex Co (plastic decking materials, etc.) and for every 1,000 pounds we collect we get a very nice bench. We are a small 55+ community and in 1 year we have collected 2 tons of plastic!!!! Win-win, cha-ching!!!!

Pet hate for me this one ….!! I never arrive unannounced and expect the same …. Please don’t bring people I don’t know. 20 years I’ve been here on my own half dozen people know where I live. I like it like that ..definitely a hermit here …. Maybe I should put that on my gate ….!!

“Imagine yourself 5 years from now, you’re in the best shape, happier than ever, you’re with your soulmate and financially successful. The only way this becomes a reality is if you work for it, don’t wish for it, work for it!” A quote from a man I really admire, Morgan Freeman.

Eat in moderation but don't deny your cravings. Try to balance your calorie intake to accommodate your guilty urges.

It's getting crowded up there. There are over 8,000 satellites hanging out and an average of 8 a day being launched.

As a child I was horrified to be told that our dogs were being fed horse flesh. Rabbits were the main protein food of many working class people during the Great Depression and on holidays as child I often hunted with my father for a "bunny" for dinner when we camped on a dairy farmer's property. Depending on circumstance and how desperately hungry I was I might try anything that looked like food from whatever source if that need arose.

Put the money you would spend smoking into a locked container. Given the price of them the money will soon amount to enough to buy something you need or maybe reward yourself with a weekend holiday or one of your "dreams". You may have to cut back over a few days or couple of weeks. You may need encouragement from your family and close friends.

I never had kids because I can't stand a screaming child and wasn't prepared to take the risk. It would have been my luck to get one of those babies that cry constantly. You may think that's a selfish attitude but I wouldn't have had the experiences I have had if I had kids. In my opinion..... anything for a quiet kid - including giving them a dummy.

To me family is so important and where I live we have four generations living in separate houses but on the same property. We don't live in each others pockets but I just adore having my great grandson around he brings me a lot of joy and I believe he keeps me feeling younger. I think it is sad that so many families seem to be separated.

I always take the aisle seat as I feel this is less claustrophobic than stuck in a corner albeit with a window to look out from. One has more leg room also and it is easier to get up and down from if one has to walk anywhere or do exercises. As for switching, no I wouldn't. You have been allotted a seat and that is where you should sit. If you want a particular seat then organise it pre flight.

Well if someone airs their dirty laundry on one of these sites, it's their choice and the site didn't ask them to air their dirty laundry, so it's not the site invading their privacy if they chose to air their dirty laundry. The sites are there for us to use, but it's not required to post personal information/air our dirty laundry.

Spotting Ants from a helicopter.... 😂 (Sorry, I don't mean to laugh when this is obviously a serious situation) But seriously... this takes "like looking for a needle in a haystack" to a whole new level

I take medication for PTSD and it doesn't work 100% of the time. At least 2 - 5 nights a month I wake up screaming. Last time was a mumble and 2 screams and I THANK MY SON each time he wakes me and rescues me from the horrors I'm in. My vote is WAKE THE PERSON UP!!

I learned cursive many years ago. I am 68 now and I enjoy writing. It should have continued to be taught. Technology tends to lessen the thought process in my humble opinion .

Fake covid and go into "lockdown" then do your own thing and try not to get caught...good luck...do not actually get covid...that would suck

Too much - too quickly! How is the average person supposed to know "who" has given the information to AI? One big scam!

If you took tax off medications then some other sector would want tax removed as well and then everyone wants tax gone. Taxes pay for all your other necessities. I'm sure most 1st world countries have systems in place to help the less fortunate. Most medicines do not cure they merely help fight the ailment you are struck with.

Live fast. Die young. Leave a good-looking corpse (and you will not have too 'worry' about saving MONEY for your retirement)!

Seriously, though. Men have been given mixed signals from women for decades now. If they open a door for a woman, for example, they are told they are patronising. If they don't, they're told they have no manners. They can never win against the whim of a woman. Personally, I love the old values and I hope that it takes longer than 213 years for men and women to become "equal".

Love some old cartoons like Milton the Monster, Casper the friendly ghost, Prince Planet, Astro Boy, Woody Woodpecker and the list goes on.

Interest rates are still very low in comparison to historical rates but house prices make the current rates unaffordable. People are borrowing beyond their means to get the house of their dreams first off instead of buying small and working towards the house they really want. My parents built our childhood home when they first married and added on and made improvements as the family grew and needs changed. Our house was originally a 3-bed, 1 bath, 1 living room with a fireplace and ended up a 5-bed, 2 bath, 2 living rooms with an extended dining room and central heating throughout to accommodate the family of 7 that we ended up as. To a certain extent, people's greed and immigration has pushed up house prices, which also has an effect on the amount of interest they have to pay, regardless of the rates.

Be more frugal, I was just told I am too frugal? 🤣🤣if I didn’t purchase the groceries we would be skin and bones

My dog doesn't like to have a bath, he hides, in the middle of the lounge room, on his bed with his eyes covered. So hard to find.

6 weeks is much too short a period of time to decide to marry unless the man is 99 with a foot in the grave and a few million in the bank, then it should be "where do I sign up"!

After having dark hair since I was a baby I find that I am loving my greys. I really think grey can look quite stylish. I see grey hair everywhere these days. Are people going grey at a younger age or are young people dying their grey. I really feel it is the latter. Dark hair on a older person with a sallow complexion looks comical. A good bottle of purple shampoo and let it be is my recommendation Ruth.

There is no "right" or "wrong" way. What you do with your own personal things is completely up to you and your own family. Nobody else's opinion matters nor is relevant. You might want to keep some, sell or donate some, or simply throw some out. You should course keep any legal documents and financial papers for a while though - people like the tax department can come back years later (in some places it can be 5 years, 7 years, 10 years, or longer).

I have no idea what you are talking about..thank you Rewardia for our discussion of the day ..good choice...

There are no jobs available when graduating from old age. They say firms are looking for experience, but I have 90 years of experience & no takers.

I grew up on a dairy farm with both parents and 4 sisters. As far back as I can remember, we had foster children in our home. Often 2 at a time but mostly 1 and once 3. I remember wanting to adopt them all, some more than others because they came as wee babies and stayed up to a couple of years and you get really attached; at least as a kid it felt like 2 years. We did end up adopting 2 boys and we are all very close and loving as siblings should be. I wondered recently if my parents did it for the money but my Dad set me straight real quick; $7/month for each child. That didn't even cover food. It was out of the kindness of their loving Christian hearts that they were doing this. In my adult life I was able to foster 2 teenaged girls. I don't think there's a much better feeling in life than helping young people out of abusive families and into a Christian home that values them for the gifts they are. And teaching them they are lovable and deserve respect and admiration lead them on to work in a dental office and veterinarian office where their kindness and confidence are shared with a gentleness they never learned in their first families. I am so thankful to God for bringing those girls into my life and the ability to give them what they needed to succeed in life and break the abusive cycle. If any of you get the opportunity to foster and/or adopt a child/children, I say pray about it and if you're led in that direction, follow your heart and do it. You will all be rewarded. God bless...

It amazes me that the younger generation have the call out for helping the earth, etc. yet they use so much stuff. i.e. wipes, disposable nappies, coffee cups and pods, phones and other electronic equipment, yes and fast food packaging and they usually buy bags at the supermarket also. I have young people around the 30 age bracket in my units here and they do not recycle anything. I saw on the news tonight that the young mothers cannot afford nappies which cost somewhere between $20 and $30 a week apparently and take over 100 years to degrade. We had about 2 dozen cloth nappies that we soaked and washed them. No on going costs with those. We used flannels to wash them with and wipe their faces and then we washed those. We can do our bit but big businesses are doing more damage than we can ever offset. They need to be made accountable. Carbon offset is not the way to go either. Carbon negative is how it should be. Buying some trees to offset the carbon is not lowering it as the trees were already there. Sometimes these areas trees/timber have also been sold so a minus. I guess we all need to make everyone take responsibility from the smallest thing to the largest company and governments.

Did not understand your question, but 'I think' you are asking the following: Truth is a generally accepted outcome or reasoning while Fact is a proven Truth. Fact is true but not all Truths are Facts (aka Half-Truths). Other words, Facts are more objective in their nature whereas Truths are more subjective in their nature (which can/will lead to Half-Truths).

If her ongoing behavior (customer) is causing emotional distress and mental distress for the owner and for the staff (as you have stated in your post) and she (customer) has 'no' valid rationale for her ongoing behavior (as you have stated in your post). Then, the owner SHOULD have a conservation with an attorney (lawyer) - that way the owner can find out - if this customer - can legally - be 'bar her' from entering the premise (business). Sometimes, THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. Which is WHY I always worked in the PUBLIC SECTOR!

Little house on the Praire, I dream of Jeanie, Wonder Woman, The Flintstones, The littlest Hobo, Gilligans's Island, Scooby-doo, Happy Days, The Beverley Hillbilly's, The love boat... oh and my all time fav... Prisoner - Australian classic! I used to run home from school everyday to watch it!!!

From the time I was a kid and found even a halfpenny on the pavement I would hand it in at the police station for the charity box. Many years ago when a teenager I found a payroll and “takings” left on the counter of the bread shop when I was locking up for the night. I called the police who quickly arrived and advised it was from the shop two doors down and they were frantic. They were most effusive in their thanks and offered a reward but I said no. For years after my mum and I had free Chinese food.

I have a disability due to collapsed vertebrae in spine and yet have cleaned tile flooring, scrubbed kitchen floor, scrubbed baseboards, hand washed dishes, cooked meals and laundered bedding, towels and clothing.

There is My Aged Care but while the mandates are still in place I wouldn't leave one of my cats in an aged care facility. My mother had been in a nursing home for some years before Covid but when they introduced the vaccine mandates almost half the staff left and the place soon fell apart. The residents were neglected as there simply weren't enough staff, the food was terrible, visitors were prevented from visiting and the residents were prevented from going out and every time a resident tested positive they were all locked in their rooms. Prisoners were treated better. My mother had an infection which had previously been tested for regularly, it caused her to have a heart attack, then someone fell on her breaking her knee then another infection went undiagnosed or treated and she died. I lodged a formal complaint 6 months ago and am still waiting for a reply. It was cruel, unkind and over the top and our aged deserve much better. So until sanity prevails and things get back to normal I'd steer clear of the aged care system.

It's already happening so of course. Technology will go as far as mans mind imagines anything and this is endless. of course it goes without saying that the morons in charge of weapons and armies do not destroy everything first.

I am not a 'pet-lover' - in the tradition sense of the word (pet-lover). Furthermore, cyborg pets are already (HERE). Just like people some have microchips in their body and wear wearable technology (to monitor a health issue - internally and externally) which interfaces with a computer. Some people (rich or super-rich) have microchips planted in their pets' body and put wearable technology on their pets (to monitor a health issue - internally and externally) which interfaces with a computer. I have a robotic pet (dog) - which can actually be programmed to speak and/or make sounds like a dog. The advantages of a robotic pet (in my case - a dog): You do not have to walk your robotic dog, feed your robotic dog, clean up after your robotic dog, or take your robotic dog to a veterinarian on a regular basis for shots. Other words, the PERFECT PET. Interesting, I have become 'quite' attach to my robotic dog and I gave my robotic dog a name (SERIOUSLY) :-))!

Nothing as I can't afford shop brought takeaways. I am on a very tight budget and a fixed income. You can make home made takeaways a lot cheaper that buying them.

Speed limits are needed but so often people simply ignore them in my area and the Police are never present and there has not been a Speed Camera in operation in our busy road for over 3 years. The Police simply do Not Care, the Politicians do Not Care. Oh they chatter on and on and on as to how concerned they are about road deaths but that is all it is, Chatter. They big problem, which causes people to ignore Posted Speed Limits is when there are, supposedly, Eoad Works in Progress. Kilometres after kilometres on our freeways which normally have a 100kph Posted Speed Limit, have 40 or 60 limits imposed but No-One is actually Working and that includes over Weekebds and Public Holidays. One of our freeways has had a new surface put down, The Speed Limity was reduced to 40 or 60 and it has remained at those limits for Six and More MONTHs - this despite the work having been completed over two months ago. Of course peopl get frustrated and angry and break the rules when those supposedly in charge impose totally unnecessary limits

Eating less and going out less. Can't believe that there's going to be an increase in the price of electricity and gas when many people are already having a tough time.

It is damaging the youth because they would rather be on social media than go outside and play. When my boys were young they went outside and played . My grandson wants to say on the computer all day. I say it hurts their minds and ability to socialize with people.

1998 - the day before I got shot in the eye - on the job - by a sorry excuse for a human being (aka a cracker)

Daddy died of pancreatic cancer and lung. He was 70 and a heavy smoker. We know that's how he got it. It metastisized to his pancreas. Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate. If you have pancreatic cancer, you are going to die in short order.

If a child can get pregnant and have a baby then I see no reason for them not to take responability for another relative but having said that we all mature at different ages

Nicknames are childish. Nicknames are not pet names. In some eras Nickname were insulting. we are really scaping the barrel

A rice cooker is easiest. I have a pressure cooker but now use slow cooker and airfryer and its just used as an ordinary pot for soup usually.

Awe how lovely of you Robert. I wish you and all of Rewardia staff and rewardians a very Merry Christmas with family & friends and an amazing New Year 2023

Yep, do this regularly. Baked beans or spaghetti on toast, or fried eggs on toast. Hotdogs are a good go-to as well.

You forgot to mention fining them or sending them to jail when they break the rules. As can happen to vehicle drivers.
